Hi Jonesy88. Welcome go the group. As many husband and I have separate doctors we both made appointments so that he could book a sperm test and for me to get the process started with blood tests. I just booked a normal appointment and then told my doctor how long I had been trying for without success.

    Hope that helps

Good evening all, hope all is well and hello Jonesy88 - we'd also gone to doctors for tests after a year trying (OH purposely left his current docs so we that we were under the same surgery) I had blood work, HSG and an internal which were all clear - at the time I was 28 and was considered as young so to keep trying.

We thought something would have happened by now but we'd never got a positive, we've been labelled unexplained infertility, great help!

OH was checked for varicoceles, confirmed he had them but not serious enough for surgery, this was end of Aug last year.

I was referred by GP for polyp removal (fertility clinic advice) and the hospital advised they wouldn't be able to fit me in until over 3 months time, we paid for the removal a week and a half later.

I would suggest that you urgently contact your GP to get the ball rolling and then potentially go private (I'm quite biased as I feel NHS hasn't really assisted us a great deal)

Angel, I'm sorry the first NHS treatment wasn't what you expected. The trouble is, there isn't alot of clinics around unless you are very central to a city. Did you complain? I think I would be tempted (but then again that's because I have little faith with NHS). Will you be getting your results soon??

Sorry haven't had dhea supplements, but have been taking 200mg of ubiquinol for almost 3 months to try and improve egg quality. I think they do a similar thing?

I've my fingers crossed for you!!! Sorry I wasn't here to cheer
you on! I know it's hard not to think about it but keep your mind busy but remain relaxed :) - easily said than done!

I'm going in for a U/S for lining check tomorrow - hope that is all ok then we can finally start treatment!

Thanks Lily Rose. Official test day is tomorrow.

I remember the injections well. The bloating makes you look pregnant and some trousers were so uncomfortable. Are you doing a natural fresh cycle or did you have to downreg before this fresh cycle?

Hi yes I did. Have done 2 tests now and they were both positive! I'm still in shock and have an early scan on the 29th. Trying to not get too carried away as it is still very early. Will be testing every few days until my appointment. X

    Wonderful news skaps! congratulations!

We had EC yesterday. I'm a bit upset as we didn't get as many eggs as I'd hoped. I guess it only takes one though so fingers crossed we have something to put back later this week.

Are you stimming now Lily_Rose? Good luck

Yes slothsocks I'm stimming at the moment, up this early to take cetrotide, I'm shatted lol. Like you said it only takes one egg, stay positive - I've also got my fingers crossed for you!!

I'm a bit worried as was told I have a big lead folly and 7 little ones, possible abandon round if I don't respond well with the new drugs :( which is disappointing news. I have a scan on Friday, hope the lil follies have grown!x
