Congratulations claretsgirl, it's great to hear some lovely positive news. Wishing you both the very best of luck with this one - take care of yourselves and keep us posted. I'm keeping everything crossed for you both. xxxx

Hoping I might be able to join you again but hubby wants to wait a few months (he wants a ski holiday) so doesn't want us to try to fall pregnant again for a few months, but if it happens, it happens so we're not preventing.

    Hello everyone.
Gelly, I am so sorry to hear your news. I cannot begin to imagine what you have been through. We have been on a few threads together at various times and my heart goes out to you.
I'm very sorry I haven't been around in ages as I had basically given up all hope but I thought I would share my news as I am still on the list. This morning, after trying unsuccessfully since my MMC in January 2014 I got a BFP. Naturally I am incredibly nervous as I think this will be my last chance. I am still reading and keeping my fingers crossed for you all.
This is such a long and difficult journey. I hope I can relax for a while instead of constantly worrying.
Much love to you all. X

Arrrghhhh! I work in a website team and tomorrow I have to meet with the company's head of HR, about how some policies for staff are presented on the website. The topic? Family leave policies, which includes maternity leave, adoption leave, shared parental leave, etc.

Worried I'm going to start randomly bawling because I'll never get to use the poxy maternity leave policy anyway! :o
  • Hi all xx

@elephant: Keeping everything crossed for you, hoping that you get some good news soon. xx

@Laura: So sorry to hear about BFN :( xx

Skaps: You are not a horrible person at all... We all do it right? I must admit someone told me they were pregnant last week, on their first cycle... I shrieked with excitement, asked all the right questions..then went home and cried :S Keeping everything crossed for round 3 for you xx

Gelly: Been thinking of you lots...you are such a ray of positivity despite the time you have had had recently. A ski holiday sounds like an excellent idea to have some time together, relaxing! (The one time I tried skiing though, I was not at all relaxed... it's not for the uncoordinated!)xx

@Pinkteapot: Hope tomorrow goes ok xx

Really hope haven't missed anyone - apologies if I have!
AFM: Husband had SA last week and we are booked in to get results on Fri hopefully.

Lots of hugs and best wishes as well to you gelly, I'm really sorry to hear your news and it's totally undeserved after everything you've been through. Take care of yourself and your OH and don't give up hope xxx

    Back to lurking now...
  • Thanks all sent good luck and vibes... i still haven't started bleeding so I was confident for a positive this morning, but I'm afraid to say we didn't get that positive. A BFN for us here.. Guess my cycle is just late this month, I can live it hope that the test was just a little too early and maybe in a couple of days if I still haven't bled the test will read positive but I'm not holding my hopes up.

Thanks again for the positive vibes and well wishes

Keeping everything crossed Elephant that its just a shy one xxx

Got my final lot of tablets on the go, ready for a scan next Friday. Last one, hoping I actually ovulate again, only happened last cycle and not in first 3, can't do much more at the mo if my body doesn't play ball :(
  • thinking of you elephant xxxxx

Laura hope everything goin well x

We had SA results today and doctor said they were normal... Yay. And that really we should be trying for 18 months before they refer us on so 5 months to see what happens!
    :rotfl:
  • Thank you, unfortunately it wasn't a shy one and still negative today, so only thing left to do is to stop meds and wait for AF to arrive.

Time to start saving saving saving and hopefully be able to afford our 3rd round in the early new year xx
