  • Not sure why you're not on the list good vibes! I'll stick you back on :) (I usually copy and paste stuff so you might have been lost in translation somewhere!)

Is there anything you'd like me to put? I can just say trying naturally for the moment if you like xx

Thank you, was about to start cycle 3. Routine scan has show a possible submucosal fibroid, wasn't there last cycle.10 months ago :(. So it has all been abandoned for now and for further investigations :(.
You think you are at square 1 and then all of a sudden your -2. Been quiet as had some heavy stuff going on at work, which has added to stress.
Put me down for investigations into possible submucosal fibroid.
    Hope your all well x

Hi ladies. Sorry for the lack of update recently. So much news from everyone - I am keeping track of all of your successes and sadness. Much love to you all.
As for me, I've had my thyroid checked after a course of medication (that I'm on for life!) and my results are good. Have then had continuous spotting for 4 months  so having MORE investigations. Hopefully will have the results by September and then I decide ivf or more ovulation induction. I'm an ivf scaredy cat but think I may have to bite the bullet.
Take care and fingers crossed for you all! X x x

Frozen I'm feeling brave - would you like me to take over the list?

Good vibes - sorry to hear your cycle has been postponed, hope the investigations go ok.

Ditto cwtw, glad the thyroid results were good though. I've been told I can try naturally for another six months following the laparoscopy etc I had a few weeks ago or can start IVF sooner if I want to. I'm torn at the moment and keep changing my mind on what would be best. Read some encouraging stats about conception after lap/endometriosis treatment on Dr Google so am leaning towards continuing naturally for a few months - although I still haven't had my results back from the surgeon so don't know if I actually have endometriosis or not and what that all means for TTC. Think I'm going to bug his secretary again as she said I would receive them this week.

    Hugs to all xx

Hope the investigations all go ok goodvibes.

Cwtw, I'm a complete scaredy cat with regards to ivf too. DH and I always said we would never consider it but then we never for a minute thought we would have issues conceiving. Now we just don't know what we will do.

At the moment I am so p*ssed off. Just got a letter from the fertility clinic we were being referred to. 2 tests still need doing. This has been going on for months now and I have been for 4 separate lots of blood tests but they've just not bothered to do AMH or chlamydia blood test despite it being necessary for referral to this clinic. In fact when I went in last I said I needed a chlamydia blood test and was told no such thing exists and they just did a swab! I have had to take 6 days off work just to go to the doctors/hospital for blood tests and then each time have an appointment with the Dr to discuss the results (which simply involves me sitting down and them telling me it looks like I'm ovulating, or that I don't have chlamydia - cos that couldn't be said over the phone). I feel like I'm taking the p*ss with work now and when it actually comes to being referred I won't have any holiday left for the proper stuff :-(

    Hi all,
Wondered if I could please join you?
We have been TTC for a year, which I appreciate is still relatively early days but obviously to us right now seems like forever!
So far, I have been checked for pcos (all clear) and had 21 day bloods which shows I am ovulating... Husband having his SA end of the month.
    Xx

Cyantist how annoying! Do your work not allow time off for hospital appointments or is it that you'd rather not tell them? Could you say you have the dentists or something instead? I'm lucky that my work are good at accommodating and not asking too many questions but I have still used 10 days holiday this year on appointments and my operation, I was thinking about it just before I read your post actually. I know it's easy said that done but don't feel guilty about work, it's not your fault and out of your hands.

I had to have a Chlamydia test but it was a urine test so I was able to pop before work and collect/drop it back. I got my results over the phone and pretty sure I got my AMH over the phone too so they can do it - so annoying how different the procedure is everywhere.

Hi ellesbelles and welcome although sorry you find yourself here. You will find lots of support and experience in this thread although it has been a bit quiet lately. Would you like to be added to the list? No pressure at all either way.

Thanks for the reassuring messages - it's good to know I'm not alone. I think I have accepted that we will go via the IVF route now - it's hard and feels like once again I have to accept that my body is a total failure. But if it puts me back in touch with the possibility of having my own baby then it will be worth it. It's just such a helter skelter this journey!!
Shrimpy and cyanist - good luck with sorting out your respective doctors. It is amazing how much we have to do chasing of medical professionals isn't it???? What do people who don't understand the system do?
Welcome Ellesbelles - may your stay be short! Please do ask questions - this is a place with a lot of knowledge!
    Take care all. Cwtw x
