Hi Ladies
Hope everyone's doing well. It's been a few months since I posted on here, after the first round of ICSI and getting OHSS we decided that rather than go ahead with the FET at the beginning of June we'd have a few months "off" until I felt like I could go through it all again. My periods were all over the place when I came off the drug, with cycles lasting 6 or 7 weeks, so I wanted my body to get back to some kind of normality and a few months of fun, so I've somewhat overindulged, had a holiday, been out a lot etc. and generally done everything you're NOT meant to do when TTC!!
I was on another mammoth cycle ( currently CD 42 ) this month so decided I was going to call the hospital today to see if what I was going through was normal. I knew the chances of me being pregnant were slim, after years of TTC without even a hint of a TLP and frankly little BD lately I thought there was no chance but thought I'd just do a IC to rule it out. To say I was shocked at the result was an understatement, so much so I had to do another 2 just to be sure and then still wasn't convinced so went out and bought a clearblue test. It's definitely a positive!!! I'm now feeling incredibly guilty and worried as I've drank loads over the last month or so and ate everything I shouldn't as we just weren't trying. I think I'm now in a state of shock and disbelief that after all these years it's miraculously happened. Just hoping and praying it sticks and that everything's OK
I hope no-one is upset at me posting, I know it's not nice when people just turn up and say ta-dah, I'm pregnant! But I really feel like I've been in this for the long haul so know what everyone is going through on here and wanted to share my news.

Congratulations, choc!! Can't speak for everyone but I don't mind you posting at all. Some of us will get BFPs from treatment, some with unexplained will have surprise natural BFPs after years! It's nice to hear of all the successes. Stories like yours remind those of us who have had unsuccessful treatment that it's not all over.
p.s. Don't stress about the last few weeks. I knew someone who found out they were pregnant just after Christmas and had drunk everything in sight over the festive period. They were really worried but it was fine. Just eat/drink what you're meant to now and it'll be OK.0 -
Congrats Choc - that is wonderful news !!!0

That's great news Choc, well doneI did the same, hadn't drunk for months being good and then cracked when I really shouldn't of. Also checked 4 times to make sure it was true, so you are not the only crazy one. See you over on the 'less than 12 weeks thread'
Hope everyone is doing ok *goes back to lurking*0 -

Oh Choc, that's fantastic news - many congratulations.
Well ladies, I'm back again. Fourth miscarriage was confirmed on Tuesday and I had another ERPC on Wednesday so have been recovering since.
They are going to test the contents of this pregnancy again and we've got a follow up appt with our consultant in mid August to see if there are any reasons for this miscarriage.
More tests on us to follow too including a follow up to the first positive test for Lupus.
Love and hugs to you all.
