Code and Tea please may I join your crochet circle, but can I bring some normal knitting instead? I also hate this time of year...But this year WILL be different, even if I'm still feeling like a grinch and refusing to put up a christmas tree lol
Hey Lisa, that's great news about your scan! Had another scan yesterday, and still only 4 follies bit we are going ahead with EC on Wednesday! Great to have a cycle buddy!
Just wondering if the universe is conspiring against as have not only had a crappy time with all the meds, but now have shingles as well, and a cold/cough thing. Thank god the shingles hasn't stopped the EC though, they are just moving me to the end of the list and sticking me in a side room till I go to theatre. However it does mean antivirals 5 times a day for 7 days as well as the other prophylactic antibiotics I need for the procedure so I'm taking pills every 3 hours now as opposed to injecting myself 3 times a day! On the up side, having shingles means I now have a genuine reason not to see all my friends with babies talk excitedly about their little ones first Christmas! Let the hermit lifestyle begin! Think of all the knitting I can get done between now and Christmas!0 -
Thinking about knitting is about all that's getting me through at the moment! Have just finished a holly wreath for my mum and though I say so myself, am flipping impressed with it
Have everything crossed for some great egg hauls ladies. Have lost some weight since the last egg dances so the silver suit fits better...... so it's time to...... BRING ON THE EGGS!!!!!

Oooh, I learnt to crochet two weeks ago! I've just finished my first project - a Kindle cover. It's just a slip-case so a crochet rectangle sewn up the side and bottom. But it works.
Only used one stitch for it - the first one in my book (double crochet). On to a new stitch this week. Working through this book:

A group of us at work have crafty coffee for our Friday lunch hour and all do knitting/crochet/cross-stitch etc.

Pics please Tea?! I was knitting squares for a blanket for a friend's kid but think I may selfishly keep it for my camper van instead 😊0
