Tea, that's amazing! Really impressed by that!
Lisa, thats great news about your scan! Hope the rest of the clutch catch up over the weekend! They got 4 good eggs from me and will be ringing me tomorrow morning to let me know how they're getting on . Feeling a bit sore following the EC and not looking forward to the ET either but it's a means to an end! Managed to do the procedure on entonox...that is some weird stuff, did not like it at all, I was having some weird auditory hallucinations and definitely wont be opting for it again any time soon! Really freaked me out!0 -
Yay for eggs!!! Have everything crossed they're getting jiggy now
Also, !!!! off emmerdale!0 -
Try watching Hollyoaks. I think there's only one female on there without a baby plot at the moment.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Ooo gas and air? I glad they don't give me that as I was given that as a child when they thought I had broken my leg and I was swearing at the nurses! Goodness knows what they thought, my Mum was mortified as I had never used that kind of language anywhere, goodness knows why it came out but I must have heard it somewhere!
We get intravenous sedation, which doesn't really work for me so they also give me lorazepam beforehand, away with the fairies :-)
4 eggs is fab, fingers crossed they are doing their thing right now! We had 100% fertilisation last time so hoping for that kind result for you!
I'm impatient now, really wish EC was earlier.
Our surrogate has the option to go away (2.5 hour flight) in the 2nd week of the 2ww for a relaxing break. Our clinic has advised that their only concern is DVT due to increased eostrogen but no concerns about the embryos etc. wondering if she wears flight socks/moves about during the flight if that will be ok/weighing up the small potential problem and the relaxation of the break for her well being. Don't know what to do really2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Wow exciting times for everyone with all these eggs. Yay.
I think I may be long protocol as I have to take the pill and then start injections in JanMFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
Oooo exciting times LisaWood.
That is absolutely fantastic Tea, where was the pattern from?
Finally managed to get hubby a new car, so he's mobile again. And I am very glad about that indeed. Far too much stress on my little 89 mini.
Just got all the xmas shopping done today and just been to my 'self employed Christmas party. Ie me and my friend are self employed and got fed up that everyone else gets a xmas party. so we went to the cinema and ate a giant tub of popcorn.
Hubby just surprised me and asked if I want to spend New Years Eve in Glastonbury!!!!Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Ladies - just wanted to pop in and say hi again - I'm not a frequent poster on this thread as I've never truly understood what you are going through as our our journeys have been very different - always read every day though to keep updated.
I'm going to be leaving you all to move over to the next thread - we got our TLP yesterday and it's been confirmed this morning.
Will be getting in touch with our consultant later as she is going to put me on progesterone as it's been trialled to help prevent recurrent miscarriages and we've had two confirmed and one unconfirmed this year.
Wishing you all love and the best of luck for your future journeys and I truly hope you'll be joining me over on the next thread soon.
Love Gelly

smookle - how are you getting on? I was going to comment about ET but don't want to if the fertilisation call was bad news.

Gelly123 - congratulations and very best of luck!0 -
Brilliant news Gelly, wishing you all the luck in the world for this time around, hopefully the medication will do the trick, hoping for you.
How are you getting on Smookle, any news?
So glad it's the weekend, so so tired, only getting about 3 hours sleep a night and am so congested it's unreal!
Booked in for EC Monday, time to be confirmed later today when blood test results come in. They took blood to check my hormone levels because I've currently got about 20 follicles! Wasn't expecting that, they are the sort of levels I got back when I started IVF, but that was 12 years ago! We only got 10 follicles and 9 eggs last time so I'm pretty pleased atm, of course I know that it doesn't mean we will have a load of eggs, but it's a start. Means for a longer more uncomfortable EC though :-(
Anybody got any plans for the weekend? X2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Vesper, great news about the car!
Gelly, congrats!
Lisa, 20 follies?! Well done you! :T hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend and a spaced out EC!
Well of the 4 eggs, only 3 fertilised, and of those 3, we only had one suitable for transfer (grade 2) so the little guy is now safely on board! (after a rather uncomfortable transfer as still flipping sore down there from EC!) The other 2 embys were grade 3- so wont be frozen -the embryologist said they were probably more grade 4 but he feels like he's failing them if he calls them 4s lol he was quite sweet about the whole thing!
So now it's the dreaded 2WW till boxing day! OH has booked a nice hotel and relaxing weekend away so my little emby can tuck himself in and make himself at home0
