That's great news Primmer.
OH got called to go and talk to the consultant, but I've not heard from him so I don't know what the news is at the moment. I haven't seen him all week. I am not encouraged to go with him to the hospital as I really do not get on with my FIL.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Hi all - really helpful to hear all of your journeys. I read somewhere that a researcher found of women who experienced infertility that they all had the same happiness level long term, regardless of the outcome of their journey. I hold on to that - no matter how hard it is now, it will get better, whatever better looks like for us.
Primmer - great news, please keep us updated about the next steps.
Congrats t2d and peonie - it's lovely to hear from you.0 -
Hello ladies,
I hope you are all doing okay. I've just popped in to say that's great news Primmer-I hope things go as smoothly as they can for you. x0 -
peonie - congratulations! And thank you for coming back to update. Very well-timed to hear a positive IVF story after my whinging this week!
time2deal - also congratulations! Enjoy every moment with your little one.
primmer - more congratulations!! Fingers crossed you're matched as quickly as possible. Someone I know adopted three siblings earlier this year (their only kids) and it's been amazing.0 -
Primmer, that's fantastic news. Somewhere out there, your child is waiting. That's so exciting.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Primmer this is wonderful news, I am a social worker and place children with adopters from time to time, watching a mum meet her child for the first time is the most magical thing in the world. I hope your wait won't be long x0

Congrats primmer!! I hope you get to meet your little one(s?) soon.0

Thanks for all the congrats messages. It really means a lot, particularly as my dad is in hospital at the moment so haven't been able to celebrate or tell many people yet as been at the hospital a lot of the time. It's great that I can share my news with you all0

Would you mind continuing to share Primmer? It'd be nice to hear about all the stages involved.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Got my next appointment through so didn't have to chase them in the end, next one is 20th January.
Eeeeek means I am now setting the target to try and lose another 5kg before then (I won't do, but the more I lose out of that the better).
FIL is starting chemo next week, they have removed all of the original tumour and the second tumour they found in his stomach is apparently small. But sounds like the cancer is quite aggressive, they have said they can beat it, but they can't say that it won't come back.
Has made me realise life is far too short, and went crazy and bought tickets for a music festival for next June. In the end its doubtful anything will happen before then, and if it tempts fate then that's great. Means I am now having 2 holidays in the space of 5 weeks... eek.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0
