Pickle, its ok. You wont need frosties anyway as your on board embies are going to stick.

At the moment everyone around me is pregnant and about to give birth so I am having a huge case of the itsnotfairs.

Just to echo what codemonkey says, Pickelin, your embies will stick! I am keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for a BFP in 2 weeks!

Codemonkey, I totally know how you feel. I try to cheer myself up by timing how quickly I can still exit my house (It's a long standing joke between me and my husband to get us through the blue days!) I had a lovely time away with family last week in a secluded village in northern Ireland so was unsurrounded by pregnancy and babies for a whole week! Well except in my head anyways!

Can I update to say I start Northirsterone on 21/10? Also, I've heard a couple of people talking about Endo Scratching. I've done a little bit of internet reading, it seems to have quite good success rates in people who have had previous failed cycles. Since this is still technically my first cycle (we never made it to EC as only had 2 follicles and clinic felt it better not to proceed) is it still worth asking for one? Has anyone else had them offered on their first cycle?

    Hi Smookle,
Are you NHS funded? If not would you consider paying for it? If you can get it for free I would, the success rates I found when I did my research about it were pretty positive. I was not looking at people with failed cycles, but my reading suggested improved rates of up to 20% in some cases... Mine cost me about £375.

I'm curious, how fast CAN you exit the house? Does that include coat and shoes or..?

Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts, I'm passing them on to A and B.

Need some advice. I'm on clomid my periods have Been reducing over the last few months started at 45 now at 31. Well 31 days was up 2 days ago. My books are sore and erect don't normally get this when af is on its way. I done a test 5 days ago and came back negative. What is going on

Do you track when you ovulate? I'm afraid Clomid does funny things to your body and if you did a test around 28 days your probably not pregnant, but you never know as you have long cycles. Unless you track OV you wont really know when AF is actually due. There is always hope and its not over till the fat lady sings but I'd not like to give you false hope as I've been there SO many times. Why not buy another test to be sure?

Picklekin, I am NHS funded, but only get one cycle (2 embryos if the first one doesnt take, but we are in consideration as to whether we would repeat if this doesnt work). I might ask the clinic about them and see if they would include it in this cycle. Sounds like it would be worth doing!

And assuming I'm already dressed etc, then from decision to go out, including coats, shoes and handbag I can be out the door in about a 40 seconds, slightly less if I'm wearing flip flops . OH takes longer as he never remembers where he's left his wallet :rotfl:

Jazz25, can't offer much advise as never used clomid as I apparently ovulate most months, but all the other drugs I used massively messed up my cycles and led me astray with false hope when I had longer than normal cycles. Keeping fingers crossed that AF hasnt arrived for a good reason though! It ain't over till its over!
  • Hi all,

No don't track starting to track not month. Been trying to stay calm and not get to worked up over it. But after trying for over a year think it's time to track. I think a will show it's ugly face as it always does

I'm very happy being PUPO, although I have my moments, my OH sent me a text earlier saying "grip runty grip" its a silly stupid text regarding my little embryo but it made me burst into tears. Luckily I was at home on my lunch break!! I keep willing them on and have little chats with them :p

I like playing with the maths too! If one has a 40% odds, and one has 25% odds then surely as they are independent events (kinda) then the probability of one sticking is 65%, the the endo scratch increases chances (according to one wacky report I read) by 20% so that gives me 85% odds.

My maths is completely wrong and daft, but it amuses me and gives me hope in the wee small hours :)
