Thanks Tea Lover.
The cheeky monkey was clearly desperate to show his face after keeping us waiting all this time!0 -
Congrats Derby!
And I'm glad you finally got AF mrsvicx, I know it really helped me move on and I hope you can do the same.

I am back from camping and did another few tests this afternoon and they are all still positive, much quicker and darker lines than last week so I am going to move over to the less than 12 weeks thread.
I just wanted to let you all know how much I value your knowledge and the support you have given me over the past 6 months since joining this thread.
You are all lovely and I hope you get your BFPs very soon, I will still be lurking to keep an eye on you all!

Congratulations Derby, it's lovely to hear updates from those that have progressed!!!
And such exciting news Jammy, I'm so pleased for you.
Also Part Mouse, I was on holiday when you got your BFP so congratulations to you too. I hope you both have a quiet 9 months.... and I hope I'll be joining you soon!!!!!!0 -
I go away for two weeks and lovely PM is upduffed!
Back from holiday and so, so glad we put the IVF cycle off until now. I didn't realise how stressed out I was from moving house in Feb until I went away and wound down. We saw the clinic in late March and could have squeezed a cycle in before our break, but decided not to. I'm in such a better head-space to have a go at it now.
Next step - phone the clinic on CD1 (in around ten days time) to say we want to start in that cycle, then drugs will start on CD21. So still a month or so till it all kicks off, but nearly there.
If I'm not knocked up already. OV'ed last week and this is our last month of trying before IVF. Everything's crossed that I'll still be able to avoid it!
Hope everyone else is doing OK. I've only read back a few pages but will catch up properly later. x0 -
Welcome back pink, glad your feeling more relaxed, where did you go again? Your going to be one month ahead of us, I have to have my blood tests on CD1 (in about 20 days) this time around, then the month after we start the cycle. Which reminds me, GOOD NEWS, the doctor has said they will let us have our blood tests done on the NHS! \o/ But only once, so if we want more than one cycle we'll have to do them pretty much back to back. Of course we wont NEED more than one, right? RIGHT?0

Pickle - If my clinic is really busy when I phone on CD1, they may put me off by a month (till my next cycle). They said it's rare, and if they do then they would definitely fit me in for the next cycle. But if that happens we'd be cycle buddies.
Went to the Lake District for two weeks of climbing hills. Blew the cobwebs away.0 -
Ooh lovely pink, we went to the Lakes last year and it was beautiful - glad you are all rested up
Fingers crossed for you and pickle with your IVF (but you never know pink, maybe you were so relaxed you created your own little Lake bean)
As for me, I'm at home today with a poorly boy. He's got a tummy bug, so I'm busy washing and cleaning up sick!! He's currently on the sofa with a bowl, watching Harry Potter! I'm not sure what I'm going to do about lunch, I might have to sneak myself something as he is complaining that he is hungry, even though he can't currently even keep down water!!
So it's all fun here!!!

Hi Ladies
Hope you don't mind me sticking my head in again. We're full on back on the TTC ing after my surgery.
We had our first appointment with a fertility doc last week. I had the dildo cam which wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The upshot is that there is nothing wrong with me or my oh, we just can't get pregnant - which is good but after 2.5 years also really frustrating! Anyway we're on the IVF list now but she said that nothing will probably happen for about a year.
I'm quite happy with that as I really just want to give it a chance to happen naturally.
So, I'm in 2 minds:
1 - continue to use the cbfm every month with me obsessing with dtd every night for a week, him getting tired, me getting frustrated & rubbish s£x
2 - Take a few cycles to "just relax". Roughly guess when I'm ovulating, don't obsess. Maybe look into reiki/ acupuncture/ proper relaxation techniques.
Sorry for the long post! Any ideas appreciated. Has anyone looked into acupuncture etc?0 -
Hi Clever, I can definitely vouch for relaxing and taking it as it comes.
We are in the same boat as you, unexplained, although we don't qualify for IVF funding as we already have DS. We had tried unsuccessfully for four years when I unexpectedly found myself pregnant in May.
I had tried reflexology, but stopped it in March and sold a whole load of DS baby bits and booked our first foreign holiday for years!
Unfortunately my bean decided not to stick around and we lost her at 7 weeks (I know I shouldn't sex her, but I hate saying 'it' and she felt like a girl), but we are hopeful that having managed it once, we can do it again...
So don't give up10/10 [STRIKE]£12,156.26 [/STRIKE] 11/10 [STRIKE]£11,950[/STRIKE] 04/11[STRIKE] £12,500 [/STRIKE]Ooops! Okay, back on track - 01/2014 £2,800, 05/2014 £4,500 (my car died!)
