Thanks fp! It's only an evening get together and won't be a super late night so I'll go. If need be, if I feel awful, I'll back out and tell them why. They're good friends. :)

From what I read, it seemed like it would be in the latter part of stimming that I wouldn't feel like being sociable!

Hi tea!! How are you? x

    Well that's OH's 3rd SA sample done.

Can I get some advice please? I have obviously got the leaflet all about the hysteroscopy that I'm having next week. But can some one tell me whether it does hurt or is just uncomfortable or what to expect. It's one of those things, like does a flu shot hurt in my mind. I just would like an idea of what to expect.

Hugs to all those that need it. I'm so sorry to read of so many struggles just now. It seems collectively a big group hug and a lorry load of chocolate is needed. Thinking of you all x

I was under a GA for my hysteroscopy, is that the plan for yours?
Didn't hurt at all afterwards and felt fine with just minor spotting.

No they just said to take a couple of pain killers before I went, no GA or LA. I can't say I really know why they are doing this, she said something about polyps and gave me the leaflet to read and asked my husband if he could drive me home after it.

Ooo then I can't help im afraid. I was told I needed for one to look for abnormalities and any reason why implantation just wasn't working and referred to my local hospital.

Stupid question - is it definitely a hysteroscopy, or are you having a HyCoSy?

Hysteroscopy is normally done under local or general anaesthetic. For a HyCoSy you take a couple of painkillers beforehand...
