Thanks pm. Yeah - I usually take lunch at 12 so not long now. Might go out for a walk and give my mum a ring.0

I hope the walk and chat helps.0

Oh pink, how horrible. I hate days like that when you think you will be fine and something takes you by surprise. I agree with PM - choccie is definitely a must and do try and have a good cry on your lunch and get it out of your system, otherwise you will keep it bottled up and it will bubble over (probably when you least expect it). Thanks both. It's going to be like this for at least a few days, I'm sure. I'll have to arrange lots of meetings elsewhere in the building. :rotfl:0

Well, I had my first day back at work today and it was as horrific as I thought it would be.
Both my boss and her boss asked me if I was sure I should be there. I burst into tears sporadically throughout the day and felt like s#%t the whole time I was there.
But I got through it and I'm hoping that tomorrow will be just a little easier and then the next day, and so on...
I also missed a call from the hospital, so I have no idea what my blood test results were. I'll have to call them back tomorrow, but I assume that if it was something other than my HCG levels going down as they thought they would, they would have tried to call again.
Keep thinking about how excited I was this time last week...10/10 [STRIKE]£12,156.26 [/STRIKE] 11/10 [STRIKE]£11,950[/STRIKE] 04/11[STRIKE] £12,500 [/STRIKE]Ooops! Okay, back on track - 01/2014 £2,800, 05/2014 £4,500 (my car died!)

So sorry to hear what you've been through mrsvicx. When it happened to us we tried to take some comfort in the fact that it meant that things COULD HAPPEN, I dunno if that's any comfort to you. Its nice your boss is being so understanding, maybe you can check with HR and take a couple of days off, I was offered "special leave" although I didn't take it (I needed to keep busy).
I'm still stuck in limbo land here, FF says I'm on CD44 but I don't think that's right. I did both an OV and a PG test on Sat and both were neg, I have started to feel a few AF signals so hopefully new cycle soon.0 -
Thanks Pickle, that's exactly what we are trying to take from it too, that after four years it means that something somewhere has started working again!
I actually work in HR and my bosses have said to take some time out if I need it, but I'm like you and would much rather mope at work than mope at home (no matter how hard it may be!)
Hopefully you'll find out what's going on with your cycle soon xx10/10 [STRIKE]£12,156.26 [/STRIKE] 11/10 [STRIKE]£11,950[/STRIKE] 04/11[STRIKE] £12,500 [/STRIKE]Ooops! Okay, back on track - 01/2014 £2,800, 05/2014 £4,500 (my car died!)

Huge hugs mrsvicx. I hope today is a little easier. Take it day by day, and hour by hour when you need to. Step outside for 5 mins fresh air when it all gets too much. x
Quick question for the ladies who have been through IVF... My treatment will start around 17th July ish. Some friends are planning a big get together on 1st August. I'll be about two weeks into down-regging. Any advice on how I'm likely to be feeling and if I'm likely to be up for an evening of socialising? It's my first cycle so I'm not quite sure how bad the side effects are early in the treatment....0 -
pink - I was on Suprecur (aka Buserelin) and found that the side effects weren't as bad as I expected. We went out to the theatre several times and also for a couple of family meals during the time I was DR-ing.
I felt quite tired a lot of the time and occasionally got a slight headache (just on the edge, bad enough to know it was there but not bad enough to take any paracetamol, if that makes any sense).
If it was me, I'd go to the party and enjoy it - but the drugs do affect everyone differently. Anyone else have any advice?0 -
Also huge hugs mrsvicx, PM, pink and pickle (and anyone else that needs them, *including* isla, tea, WW, GV - hope you're all still lurking somewhere) xxx
mrsvicx - so so sorry to hear your news, but like the others have said, at least it means something is working somewhere. Take care of yourself xxx
GTS - how are you getting on? Is this weekend OTD? Thinking of you xxx0
