    Hi,

I checked my bank account and found that EE are continuing to charge me further in spite of the final settlement! I have just emailed them the below:

To all those who have won - make sure you check your bank account regularly to see if EE are still taking money out from your account.

You should contact your bank and explain that this contract was cancelled, it is my understanding that under the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme you should receive a full and immediate refund whilst they take it up with the organisation.

T Mobile had the cheek to charge for a 'Notice Period charge' which they have refused to remove even though i won my CISAS case in part... they try anything to rob people...

That can't be right boatman.... if they have been ordered to refund all costs then you will get it back... if not then a new CISAS case it is....
A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.
  • Just a quick update. Received my decision from Alison Dablin.

    Claim succeeds in part
ee have been ordered to backdate cancellation to 25th February 2014 and release my pac code.

No compensation awarded even though I asked for it.

Oh well, at least I can be rid of ee now!

    Thanks everyone especially RandomCurve.

    Tmobile contract Oct 2012

I direct that the company cancels the customer’s contract as of 24 March 2014 without applying

a penalty for doing so, provides the customer with a PAC, and pays the customer the sum of £100.00 in compensation.

Thank you RandomCurve - couldn't have done it without your templates!:beer:

My decision came through and I won!!!

Post Oct Orange - Adj: D.Stoker - Used RC templates with added flare.

It says i succeed in part, however I have been awarded full compensation. The only thing i can see that is wrong is for some reason my backdated cancellation is to the 26th Feb not 13th Feb when i originally asked for it.

To be honest, I dont really care. A big thank you to Random Curve.

    Kiss my !!! Orange

Hi, sorry for shouting but this thread is getting humungous :)

My story deviates a little from the plot line on the other website so Id be grateful for a nudge in the right direction please

My story is that I have been with Orange since Sept 2012 and have got increasingly angry at the 2 price increases I have been penalised with

I sent your original template on the 25th April but didnt receive a reply until May 13th, the letter I got was the 2nd one from your templates page ie ending:

Whilst I understand this is not the outcome you were looking for, I trust I have clarified EE's position regarding this matter.

Id be very grateful for advice on how to respond to this as they missed the week deadline you mentioned, I have had a health scare which took over my life but now Im in the clear I want to teach them a lesson :)

    Many, many thanks

    Dave

    Two more cases won here,

Only £25 compensation awarded out of £100, also changed the backdated cancellation to the 10th March saying I had to give 30 days notice and not 14 days. So lost two weeks of refunds on each number but end result is EE lost.

    EE terms.

    Hi,

EE have responded to my email about them debiting my bank account AFTER the final settlement had been done. As usual they fail to address my email at all and respond as below:
    Dear Sir

We refer to the decision in the above matter which you accepted.

As directed, we have arranged for the your account to be terminated and the cancellation charges backdated to 24 February 2014. We also arranged for the sum of £100.00 to be transferred into your bank account along with the refund of the charges applied to the account after 24 February 2014, therefore a total of £XXX has been transferred into your bank account.

The above has been applied in compliance with the decision and it is in full and final settlement of your claim and all matters arising out of your account.

    Yours faithfully

I have emailed them again (copied in Mr Swantee again) that they have failed to respond to my email at all which was about them debiting a further amount AFTER my final settlement. Lets see how it goes else more compensation will be coming out from EEs account!!!
