Bit confused though as it says I win in part? Then goes onto say EE must provide a penalty free cancellation and pay back any money from feb 13th and provide pac code and I am awarded the £100 compensation. So is the only thing that I didnt get is an unlock code?
Thanks
Did you ask for an apology and she didn't award that?
Is the PAC code the unlock code, or do you mean unlocking the phone to other networks?A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -

Well thats what I thought when I saw win in part I was expecting not to have won the compensation but as I read on it seems I have all of it, I think the pac is to transfer your number to another network but I havnt been awarded the unlock code so my phone is locked to EE I guess, so will have to pay to get it unlocked that is what im guessing anyway,
Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks0 -

A PAC code is only for taking your number elsewhere, not unlocking the phone.0 -
Has anyone else had a part win with not receiving an unlock code? Im not sure why I haven't0

Apparently there is no obligation on the part of the phone companies to provide you with an unlock code - even if you offered to pay for one! So that will be why that part of the claim "failed" (worth putting it in the claim though - if you don't ask you don't get with CISAS!).
I have been told that if you ordered your phone via a third party (e.g. Dial-a-phone, or Mobiles UK etc.) than more often than not the phones aren't actually locked - so might be worth trying another sim before paying for an unlock code (My T-Mobile and Orange phones were both actually unlocked phones -they both came via third parties - one is now on 3 the other on Tesco).0 -
Just submitted my CISAS case, that was more work than I had anticipated! I ended up putting in 2 more appendices than I originally noted down, hope it doesn't matter. I did make them aware of it in the subject line.0

I have created an account to say that I've been following this thread for months and finally got to the stage where I responded to EE Limited's defense today.
I'm waiting to find out who my adjudicator is. I didn't want to remain a lurker. Hopefully I can be added to the wins list in the next few weeks.
I have the sense there are a lot more of us than have posted here. Thanks RandomCurve for getting me this far. It is greatly appreciated0 -
Hi guys,
It's great to see that some of you are now winning against EE. These price rises are just wrong.
My claim has been processed by CISAS and I am just waiting on EE's defence.
I was wondering if EE ever offer you discount, a 30 day minimum term or simply promise to make you immune from price rises if they are ordered to allow you to cancel free of charge?
I am happy with my current price plan, I just refuse to pay more for something that was sold to me as fixed so I would accept a discount on my line rental that was made immune form any future price rises. If not, I will cancel despite having a great price plan because the increases are morally wrong.
Thanks.

Although it would have been great to have won the unlock code I am just over the moon that I have won! Like you said if you dont ask you dont get so was worth asking. Unfortunately I got my contract direct through EE.
Thank you again for all your hard work0 -
Just received EE's defence. Several paragraphs about not supplying an unlock code at the end and a cut and paste job as they refer to "she" a number of times and I am certain I am a "he" - I'll be sorting out my reply at the weekend.0
