  • I just received my CISAS decision - victory to me! EE will have to cancel all charges since Feb, give me a PAC code and the £100 in compensation. My adjudicator was Stacey Edgar.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for their help and persistence, and especially to RandomCurve - the big daddy of this thread. It felt good to stick it to the man for once, and it's nice to see consumer power in action!

Just received my PAC code from Orange. have 30 days to use it!

Sorry RC, did not want to risk using international calls/roaming when abroad as per your suggestion as EE might have still charged and it would have taken another case to deal with it!

sshariff - Did you ask for your PAC code, or did you get it from CS, did they give it penalty free

Le sigh. Went into phones4u who told me its EE I need to talk to. EE told me its Phones4u. Went back to Phones4u who told me to go to EE. Went to another EE store who told I can only get out of my contract if I pay the fee, because the increase is just inflation.

Fed up of this now. Add to this phones4u have mucked me about with my insurance too.

I won my CISAS case which I accepted. They directed EE to issue the penalty free PAC code and refund any payments taken after 24th Feb along with £100 compensation.

Phoned EE who told me I have to pay £156 to leave because my contract ends in more than 30 days. They claim because its inflation and not above it, I can't leave without paying a fee.

What so I do now? I did send the emails as directed, but no had a response yet.

    Hello again everyone,

I'm ready to send the template to T-Mobile/EE regarding the cancellation of one of the contracts we currently hold with them, however before I do this I want to clarify our position.

We signed up for the contract around mid October 2013 and are due to get the 2.7% increase on 27th May 2014.

Am I ok to use the template for T-Mobile suggested by RC and just shoot it straight off to them or should I be using something else? Or does none of this apply to me.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The thread below is to do with the price rises, read though that and you'll find a template rejecting the price increase

Which emails have you sent and when did you send them?

Are you rejecting the change in terms and conditions or the price rise?

    If the price rise have a read through this thread ;

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4818999

If the terms and conditions then if it has been 8 weeks since your initial email you can go straight to cisas, if not then you need to resend the original email, but be sure to mention they have failed to reply to your original email.

If you haven't sent an email rejecting the price increase then you'll need to do that too.

I applied to CISAS on April 10th, only received automated reply, still waiting for further details. I guess they must be overwhelmed at the moment.

It'll take 5 working days until they will confirm the claim, you should hear something today!
