Hi,
Great work at getting back at EE!
Wondering if anyone can tell me where i stand, i phoned EE to try and cancel my contract on the 26/03/2014 and the 29/03/14 or to let them know i would
They have this on record but as the advisers didn't seem to willing i thought i had no chance but after finding this last night can i still try?
I have emailed the first template letter, my contract was opened Dec 2013
You contacted them in time so you should be fine - remember to adjust the template email when they respond to say "further to my email dated X and my call to 150 on 26-03-14"0 -
EE have confirmed cancellation of contract without early termination fee being applied when cancellations dept contacted and this argument was quoted.....i called in response to the price rise letter i recently received
so a positive outcome for me without having to go through cisas......i referred to the number of upheld complaints to strengthen the material detriment argument with EE
hope this may be of use to others
cheers
Can you bit a more specific - was the change in T&Cs you argued after receiving the price rise letter, or the price rise arguments on the other forum?0 -

Hi Guys,
Been monitoring this forum for a few days and very glad to see many people experiencing the same problem as me. Have been in a contract with tmob since June 2013 and would just like some help in proceeding with this whole situation.
I received a letter from Tmob in april regarding these changes and really looking to get the penalty free cancellation as I'm a student every little counts for me lol.
I rang up tmob in a half arsed attempted (by saying the percentage increase is above the RPI increase) on Friday explaining my situation to no avail and explained that I'm a student. The gentleman on the other end was in fact very helpful there is possibly a way I can get a penalty free cancellation as I'm not able to meet the expenses or something but he said he would give me a ring on Monday morning anyway to see whether my account has gone into (holdings?) I think meaning they have to give me a reminder of some kind or something. Anyways he said once its gone into that maybe theres a way we can proceed.
I just wanted to know whether I should follow this procedure as It seems more sound to me and by looking at what Randomcurve has done seems as though many people have been successful.0 -
Also am I too late to do this???0

I applied to CISAS on April 10th, only received automated reply, still waiting for further details. I guess they must be overwhelmed at the moment."Retail is for suckers"

RC - there's been an article printed in the Scottish Sun on Sunday (of all places!) today on EE's change of terms - just spent an age drafting a post to put it here and it's been blocked - for who knows what reason... paranoid mama
. Will email you the article, see if you can post it up? It's basically a pic of the newspaper article, if I were more tech-savvy there might be a better way? Can't find the article online, at least without subscribing to their site online, which I refuse to do on a matter of principle - and £1 charge p month
