Thanks mum to one, I'm trying really hard not to give into shopping.

There's a few things needed in the house but I'm resisting the urge to buy I will save and buy for future purchases. The kids mattresses need replacing I will speak to oh about saving for these and hopefully going 50:50

I've managed to unload my phone and I've ordered a large memory chip for my camera xx which was free as I used Amazon vouchers from Xmas.

  • Hey hon

Well done on not giving in to temptation. I'm still trying to do that so have to look at the sewing machine I absolutely urgently needed that's sitting upstairs collecting dust just to remind myself about wasting money. Plus it's more money for NYC or even towards the mattresses.

You're going to NYC soon aren't you? Bet you're getting excited!

Have a good day hon :) xx

I'm not going to meet my target :-(

I got paid yesterday and it's all but gone needed to take £110 for the girls dancing got a show coming up expensive times.

I had paid £110 for exams last week so not impressed its a cost I forgot about so I'm suppose it's a good thing I did the overtime.

I had my hair done in extensions (always braid hair before I go on holiday its high maintenance otherwise) luckily I have a friend who does it for £40 instead if hairdresserwho charges £130:eek: so the £40 was a lot less. The hair cost £30 so £70 in total.

I had to fill up with diesal £40, top up the food and replenish toiletries £50.
I needed to replace work trousers old ones had ripped and had buy to new cardigans and mothers day presents all came to £55 in primarni.

Hubby needed prescriptions came to £20ish.

So that's it no big payments to cc, I'm absolutely gutted can't believe its all gone. Over £300 spent in 24 hours.

I did more overtime today and doing more tomorrow and on Sunday. Feel deflated I'm off to bed got to be up at 5am.

    Night all.

    False alarm....

    Boo hoo moment over:j

I've recalculated and rechecked my figures I should be able to pay £258 (includes latest interest) which will leave £300 outstanding to pay. Which I should be able to clear next week, with next weeks ot payment. Might see if I can stay longer tomorrow make my 8 HR shift a 12 hour shift to ensure I hit that £300 payment mark....

Just phoning the automated number now to make payment so I get to use this emotion after all :j:D.

This is definetly good night xx

Welcome Karting 2, you will find loads of tips on the DFW board there is some great advice out there.

I didn't get to work today OH had a bad night and morning so have cancelled tomorrow's shift as well so don't let them down again last min, feel guilty as they wouldn't have got cover at such short notice and they were already short.

I'm not going to hit my target but there's nothing that can be done about it so I'm trying not to mop around.

I've thrown myself into cleaning instead and catching up on all the ironing and washing.

I'm going to make a new budget for March's pay check need to include the cc, water and council tax which start again april.

Have a great weekend peeps xx

  • Hey hon

Sorry to hear OH isn't doing so well, hopefully it's just a minor blip and all will be better soon.

It's annoying when a forgotten bill comes up, especially one for £110 but at least you didn't rely on your cc so that's a huge well done!!

Take care of yourself with all those extra shifts though. :) xx
