As soon as I start debt busting payday becomes even more exciting :-) my bank account won't update until 3am so won't know my wages until i wake up. (Joys of shift work).
Then I will shift £900 into my EF to bring it up to the magic £1,000.
I'm working overtime all weekend so updates will continue to be short, plan is to keep the new boost of Gazelle intensity going.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

It's done I have £1,000 in my emergency fund :-). So I'm now back to where I was in June finally. Next up is that WFTC which I should be able to get rid of with my December pay and some OT.
I'm knackered from these extra hours but it will be worth it. Determined to be totally independent from credit cards and so far it's all about saying no and not trying to keep up with the joneses. (Ignore the holidays lol)
When I first started I used catologues and credit cards to fund everything in my life, the catalogue was the first to go, now the cc has gone. Can't believe how much of being debt free is actually about mental attitude towards materialism (why did no one tell me lol), I've been reading loads of articles about consumerism and minimalism and its took a while but my mental attitude towards shopping and buying is changing. its Black Friday and I'm not even tempted to go wild lol. Had a look if anything from my Xmas list was reduced and there not so Good day today.
It's DDs bday soon I will wait till payday of OT to buy her present. She will be 16, really had to reign in the inner shopperholic chosen a decent present which I can afford and will order a cake from my friend. She wants a few friends round so a trip to lidl before hand for pizzas and snacks. I've budgeted about £40 in total and £100 on her birthday present and cake. All this is one OT shifts pay. So can't complain xx have a great day xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Nothing much to update today just cleaning and washing clothes trying to make sure everything is in order before the 60hr working week starts again, working tonight.
Just a little bit of OT left to do to ensure I can start the new year with no WFTC payments. I'm knackered but it will be worth it.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hardest thing in the world is not overspending at this time of year thank god my cc is cut up into tiny pieces. The temptation to splurge is there on the edge.
I've stuck to budget mostly with the xmas presents so far. Only using cash no credit (go me). Kids is the area I found it the hardest budget, was £50 thats increased to £100 each. so I've decided me and oh not doing presents between us to level things out. I really don't need anything anyway. My £1,000 EF remains untouched
that's all doing OT all weekend got a call from my bank they thought there was fraud on my account, because I never usually my debit card for shopping.
Ive also been using my prepaid cc for online shopping :-)
Right best get some shut eye xx
Have a great weekend I'm still on track to saying bye to WFTC with my December pay.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

As I said before I usually use CC for Xmas shopping, now I wish I did this year. one of the Xmas presents I've brought may not be the real thing. I am currently waiting for it to be delivered, it was too late to cancel. If I had used my cc I wouldn't be worried about getting my money back but I used my pre paid cc and I'm sure the rules are different.
Got to go to work now will investigate further tomorrow.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
