Kids extra curricular activities cost a small fortune. When I started DD1 at dance class little did I think that the one little tap/ballet lesson a week would soon turn in to tap,ballet,disco/street dance and musical theatre for both of them. It keeps them active and off the streets though and as we live in a deprived area with some not nice kids its money well spent. Xx0

I agree with what your saying about keeping them off the streets xx
Spoke to OH he will help pay for the shoes we will see if this happens until then I'm just hoping some overtime will become available.
Win for today I've checked my balance on CC which was updated today new balance £1,750. If I could just get 4 overtime shifts between now and payday I will be on my original target of clearing the CC with May's payday.
June and July then can be used to clear WFTC.
Been invited out in May as a couple No word will have to be used as got few birthdays and home insurance is due.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

I remember all the never ending dancing fees! My friends little girl is at a dancing school that when your old shoes no longer fit everyone hands them in and there is a good collection where they can normally swap for a pair in the size they need.
Good job on holiday temptation...I am dreading no holidays this year. I am away for a long weekend in Barcelona in August so can't complain too much. I feel I deserve it, god knows why lol I've been good to myself over the years with holidays, so I am sure I can survive. Just pray for a good summer....as if, not up North anyway!

Time for a very honest post some might find some of the comments shallow but read to the end there is a point.
I can't be the only woman out there who stares at the Instagram pictures thinking if only I had the money I would get this done and have that altered and pay for this and eat that etc.... I know I do and I thought today that when you are paying off debt these thoughts are even stronger because you are paying for past mistakes the "if only's" become even more extravagant.
Since starting paying off my debt again I've fantasized about everything from getting my breasts enlarged when I'm debt free I had got as far researching the surgeon! looking at expensive lip plumping glosses I will be able to afford, undereye miracles and more importantly the personal trainer I could get if I won the lottery to get the body I wish for, and don't forget the butt enhancement and skin laser treatment, literally hours have been spent "body wishing" my life away thinking if only I had the money.
The lightbulb: Months ago I brought T25 because I knew I was cancelling the gym I also used to do pole fitness which I really really miss. But I haven't pressed play on my DVD for a while now, so today I decided to stop body wishing and do something about it. I'm petite at 5"1 and I weigh 48kgs, I don't want to lose any weight I want to tone what I have, I want toned arms, i used to have a 4 pack which I would like back and if I do regular squats I can have a decent behind to match. my skin looks great if I drink loads of water and if I stay from diary (including chocolate) and eggs which I'm allergic too that give me a fine rash over my face. The cost to achieve all the above is nada, nil, zilch and not a surgery in sight. I have weights, T25, access to you tube and an abundance of free drinking water coming out my tap.
My aim is to have my dream body at the same time as being debt free it will be a race against myself where I will be the one to benefit :-)
Then when I do have money after paying off my debt I can do what I love doing more than anything else in the world and that's travelling rather than literally buying an !!! :rotfl:
Edit: another point is if I don't exercise when I'm broke I definitely won't do it if I had money either lol xxx T25 workout done for today xxx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Lidl is one of the changes I have made that has made such a difference! I'm now always dead annoyed at myself if I ever pop into Morrisons and costs me £40 for a few bags of about a meals worth!Starting debt £18,675.63

Hi all,
Lidl is fab and I save a fortune on the kids lunches xxx
I'm still focused just been very busy and not had time to up date.
Didn't get any overtime last month, so I've paid £823 off my cc with my wages, and I have a week off next week so hoping to do some OT then if I can. £1,000 left owing on CC. Not used it at all, the £73 increase is interest. did use some of my EF as we had no food, so I had to dip into It quite abit for petrol and general house shopping. All of which would have gone on my cc so I'm not too upset. I'm off to the in laws this weekend so only got to find petrol costs really which ive budgeted for. I've re done my budget for this month coming so I shouldn't have to dip into my EF fingers crossed I've got it right this time.
Still following my workout regime too xx have a great bank holiday weekend everyone.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Another update new tumble dryer should be delivered soon as last one was affected by the problems etc. Only downside new one is whit and not silver like my current one.
I dropped my phone and it smashed so for a small increase got a new contract with a new phone, with my NHS discount its £18 a month so not to wild.
I'm on annual leave this week and worked overtime all week so fingers crossed I can balance a few things out I forgot about.
Still working out and eating well off to bed now night all. X3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Got paid OT today so £274.76 paid to CC so total owing now down to £780 (interest this month was £54.76)
I would have paid more but DDs dance lessons are £117 for the rest of the month and need to put that to one side as didn't budget for dance properly this month at all. I've lost how many times I've had to dip into my EF this month again. My expenditure of normal running day to day is really under estimated. Home insurance I also paid for yearly from EF. So the onwards plan keep doing as much OT as possible this month to get rid of CC before pay day would be great.
Going to sit tonight and write down everything I've spent money on this month so I can see where I'm going wrong xx
