Hi reality check,

I pay for my student loan every month out of my wages it's £100 a month.
So I would like to clear it as next year the plan is to get a mortgage. As I will have no cc (that's the plan) my car payments will be the only debt left and from what I understand when applying for a mortgage they like to see regular payments in your credit report. My thinking is (anyone please correct me if I'm wrong) I will clear my credit card, clear my WFTC overpayment, then clear my student loan, then next year I will have reduced my monthly outgoings enough to save a comfortable £1,000 a month whilst showing a surplus in my account each month and overpay my car a little. I don't have an overdraft and no other debt on my credit file. That's my way of thinking but I could be wrong.....

Tanarif, it was a great idea! I've however just cut it up, because if a spendaholic like me wants to spend the ice can thaw very quickly lol.

yeah you're right, it's worse to not have any credit than have some...plus £100 extra will come in handy x

Got paid OT today so another £100 off the CC :-)
So wasn't far off clearing CC before payday, just £300 to clear when I get paid from work then ................ My cc will be clear.

Good morning everyone I'm off to work but I have paid off my credit card today £300 xxx so happy xx and £500 has gone to savings account to save up to clear the WFTC overpayment xx

I'm still here just been working a lot. No overtime just poor shift patterns

Updated my signature new overall total is £28,075 it's going down....slowly but surely lol.

Figures updated got an uptodate figure on my student loan it's now £6,380.43 this figure doesn't seem to reduce by much :-(

WFTC was also out of sync a little bit but in the wrong direction £1,684.08 owing

Total is actually £27,879.51 in debt it's better than £31,000.

One WFTC overpayment

Then I'm debt free! Can't wait to remove another one of this list xx
