Looks like my latest update didn't update yesterday.
Got my latest CC statement yesterday £82 interest added to CC balance.....boooooooo:mad: however this should be the last month I'm paying any interest.
New balance to clear is £1,270.95
But never mind got paid for OT today and I'm going to pay £200.95 off the total. I would have loved to have paid £270.95 to round it down nicely but £200.95 will have to do. Other spends today will include fuel. Meant to be going out tonight but can't face it too tired after working two nights in a row may have to cancel. (Was going to drive to save money)
Spends yesterday were £0. Working nights so no opportunity to spend anything.
I'm hoping I can aim for £200 per week, then clear the remaining balance on payday. It's really hard, as I could do with doing a toiletries top up shop and getting a few bits for the house we are surviving on bare minimum at the moment. But if can just clear this CC and meet the 100 day challenge I will no longer be paying ridiculous interest charges.
So close but still so far......that's all from me will update tomorrow. Think I'm behind on updating my challenges so will go and get those uptodate.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Re looked at figures £70 to CC today so new balance is £1,000 and I've got 27 days to clear it. Hopefully I can clear another £200 next week but we will see.

Welcome Nannytomany xx I've wrote on your diary. Xx
Can't believe how busy work is today but all that's getting me through is the fact it's overtime and it will be in my bank account next week so I can pay more of the CC.
I've been blocked out of my CC online account for some reason so will sort that out on Monday as I'm working again tomorrow. Would have worked 60hours this week but it's worth it in the end.
I will be debt free one day.
I just can't wait to shift this credit card now. It's seems to have taken longer than before to go. On the 1st October my bursary would have been paid and my CC leaving only my car and student loan left to clear and my dream goals to save for I can't wait.
It's a family members birthday next week and I've offered to help with a few bits. Everyone's contributing something for the party so I'm budgeting £30. I think that's reasonable. I didn't go out Thursday night so saved some money there.
Don't know how I'm going to cope without checking my CC balance until Monday lol.
Oh well lunch is over enjoy your weekend everyone xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Finally a day off work and it feels great I'm still in bed :-)
Been biting my cheek in my sleep and I've given myself an ulcer, I usually do this when I'm worried about something. Think the rotation at work must be playing on my mind. Start in new area tomorrow eek. Very nervous.
Need advice really thinking ahead to next month when I start paying off my car loan. Do I overpay monthly or do I save and pay in one lump sum? I've put this question on the main board as well want to do whichever option results in paying the least amount of interest.
Today will be a NSD on Fridays post forgot to add a spend of £40 on fuel hope it lasts the week.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Okay I have phoned to unblock CC online account, just anxiously waiting for that to be done.
I've called the car finance company I can make overpayments at no extra charge however my interest is fixed so it won't be reduced if I overpay.
However if I make a lump sum (early settlement) they minus outstanding interest. So the new account the isa I've set up I will use to save the money in for repaying my car loan early.
There are 54 payments outstanding at £352.67 each and one payment of £497.67. The agreement should run over 5years but I would like to cut this in half! I'm keeping my monthly Direct debit going that won't change.
So I'm going to aim to save half the payments then call up with a settlement figure.
27 payments = £9,522.09
Can't wait until next month. My overtime income will go into my yearly bills saving pot. Then will use my monthly wages for car overpayments.
That's it then the plan is set for next month woohoo xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
