  • Shopping tomorrow instead had a ditzy moment earlier I don't finish work until late most the shops I wanted would have been closed :rotfl:

    So I'm going tomorrow instead.

The new area at work wasn't as scary as I thought had a nice day. Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow hopefully at Nandos than I can use nhs staff discount.

I checked my payslip today for overtime will be getting just over £200 so that will be winging its way over to the CC on payday. Plus I will be paying the £100 from CB over this week and hubby owes me £50 this will also go to CC. So £350 in total this week. So my total should be £650 after this week :-)

Got bad news from WFTC my new total is £4.50 a week?!?! Is there any point lol. But it will help towards a paying my £1 pad a day I suppose lol.

Nothing else to report. Looking forward to making the a payments mentioned. Got less than thirty days of the 1 debt vs 100 days challenge fingers crossed I meet it.

Glad the new unit went ok, and lunch at nandos sounds fab.

Def agree with hitting the £1 shop, I'm now doing the shopping for the house, now done a list of stuff that is cheaper via £1 land - one big saving is carex handwash, normal price at Mr T is £1.94, - think theres about 15 items that I can take off main shop.

Sounds a good chunk will soon be coming off the credit card, your doing fab with that 100 day,...

For me I need to start my 100 day challenge on 23rd Sept, to finish on new yrs eve,...

Been fun today, had my car in garage for MOT and service, - nice bill of £359........ hoping to get it around £250 mark, but all the brakes inc the discs and few other bits, so know its been done properly, and been safe,

Was taking DD with to Asda... using dads car, got to the end of the road, (200 yards from home), and went to brake.... got no breaks....... thank heck there was no cars about, managed to turn the car around and bring it back home, so rang the garage to get it booked in, so plan tomorrow call AA (got homestart) they wont be able to fix it, there tow me to a garage, (saves being charged for towing). xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Oh my god about the brakes, very lucky you were able to turn around safely. Glad you were all okay. Xx

I'm like you dont mind paying for repairs as long it's done properly xx

Is DD enjoying being back at school? How's the walking to school going?

Don't forget to joint the 1 debt vs 100 days thread when it restarts very encouraging xx

Good news with the breaks, a very very nice man rescued me, - he managed to fix them for me, just a cost of £10 for a break cyclinder, - so pleased.

DD settlin in ok, good as her friends from her 1st school are now there, shes good with the walk, its about a 5min walk, but can take her an earth to get back, school finishes at 3.05, she got home at 3.55 - walked with another girl and 2 lads... they stopped to talk..... me thinks there may be first boyfriend!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Ahhhh, First boyfriend so sweet xx

    Glad brakes are fixed xx

I spent £119 today instead of £90 but I did buy some much needed work trousers, lunches for a good few weeks, brought double of all the toiletries so should last our family a good month. And I went out for lunch with a friend which was lovely. Sounds a lot but I haven't refilled the cupboards for a good while so I'm pleased with the amount.

I then had to replace my sons game that was stolen keep meaning to do it but never got round to it. This was £20 not budgeting for but hey ho.

My online CC account is still blocked

I'm going to have to phone them during my lunch break to pay my target amount for the week. They will not stand in my way.

I'm working next three days in a row. So minimal updates from me.

A date for New York somehow was set over lunch today....April next year :-) it's one of my dream goals, (see previous posts some pages back). Can't wait to update my signature at the end of the month. :-)

    Night everyone :j
