Hi all
Got paid earlier than I thought, so I've paid £500 to CC today :j I'm looking forward to totalling my debt on the 3rd September.
I paid it quickly so I couldn't change my mind especially as I'm on annual leave next week. I don't want to be tempted to buy anything or spend money on treats. I have allocated £150 to days out and will not spend a penny more. I'm being really strict as my CC is on an apr of 39.9% Apr so I'm really trying to clear it ASAP.
Got my email today confirming my catalogue account is closed after 8 years :T:j I'm over the moon. One credit account closed two to go :-)
Last 12 hr shift tomorrow it's been super busy at work so I definitely need a break.
Spends £500 PAD to CC
£20 fuel
£2 in chippy as everyone else had eaten.
Have a great bank holiday everyone xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hey all,
Well as expected our holiday at home means everyone sits in front of the telly until we go out. The house was a mess no one offered to help I had to repeatedly ask for things to be done and I spent most my day washing, cleaning, ironing and getting tutted at. (This is not my idea of a holiday)
Tomorrow we are bowling hopefully a better day. The more time I spend with my oh lately the more I'm seeing where things are going. I could say the blue sky is blue and the green grass is green and he would argue a point that it isn't. My dream list may change to "becoming debt free and being able to afford to move out."
Spending Diary:
£30 on DDs school bag
£15 on cinema snacks from supermarket not bad for five of us. Used tesco clubcard for cinema passes. Saved us a fortune.
£10 to CC
£1 to SPC
£30 for bowling trip tomorrow
Only outing left to pay for is the go karting :-) which is about £100 discounted then oh has paid for Alton towers. No longer going to festival was too expensive.
Time for a little more moaning:
I enjoyed the film, OH found plenty to moan about film, pre moaned for the next day then got petty and gave everyone a drink around the table apart from me. This morning, him and the kids where looking at pictures on the ipad I came in the room to have a look and join in when he promptly closed it and told me not to worry about. His been petty all day and had the cheek to tell me all day not to start moaning, so he pushed and pushed until I moaned.
So many other things happened today but I've moaned enough it's meant to be a debt free diary.
Sorry for the moaning - It's over now
I'm looking forward to tomorrow when all the accounts will be uptodate after the bank holiday. I will see what my CC balance is, I'm guessing about£1,400 ish. I'm annoyed that interest will be added to this figure soon but I will continue with daily payments. I have 44 days on my "clear a debt in 100 days challenge." That means I need to clear £700 before my next payday at the end of September.
I will chase up webuybooks tomorrow as I haven't heard anything about a payment.
So I'm sorry for the moaning part of my diary tonight.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hi all bank accounts aren't fully up today's yet....- bit frustrating.
I made a payment to my CC of a vey small £2.50
I spent £9.50 at bowling
I also paid for go-karting tomorrow which came to £85
£0.50 into SPC
I've now hit my spending limit on days out. I will not spend another penny on this week.
Nothing else to report. I promised I wouldn't moan tonight3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Just realised tomorrow I can reduce my credit limit to £2,000!!! It's at £3,000 at the moment, Woohoo. The credit card is cut up but if I reduce my limit I won't be tempted to reorder a card. (I know my weakness, things like this have to be done when I'm feeling strong about being debt free).
Then that's another £1,000 I will never have to repay again....:j
I can't wait to make that call now :-)3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

And yes I have stayed up past midnight so I could be sad and check my CC statement and the new balance is £1,421!!!!!! Happy Days almost there :-)
That does not account for the daily pads from the past two days (even though they are small).
I cannot wait until I get paid overtime on Thursday I can take another chunk from it :-).
I should get WFTC tomorrow so will throw the £21 towards it and Friday I get money from oh to put towards bills so I will put that £30 towards it too.
I'm only doing one extra shift this week as I am on annual leave but might squeeze one more in if I can.
I haven't had a final response back from we buy books yet. Will chase this up.
And my daughter reminded me she has a school trip she needs to pay off in September so well do an extra shift for this when I get back.
So that's my late night ramblings complete. I'm so excited to do a total tally on the 3rd September.
Remember everyone every penny counts, can't believe I used to buy lunch and bottles of water everyday. I used to sometimes buy two bottles a day lol and they would end up half empty. Filtered water from my fridge in a bottle is just as good. When I compare my bank statements I can't believe how much I used to use the cashpoint before. I very rarely go now if I go shopping I use my debit card because I'm only spending what I need. Whereas before I would take out £20 use £10 and whittle away the rest. I know this doesn't work for everyone as some need to feel the money to have the real connection. But not going cashpoint anymore has worked wonders for me. That's were these extra pounds for PADs have come from to keep drip feeding the debt down.
Night MSE readers, sorry to ramble.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hey hon
Well done on getting the cc down! That's such a marvellous achievement and you should be feeling pleased with yourself.
I agree with the cashpoint theory you have. I stopped using them in January and have found it so much easier to put money aside. Saying that I have a sealed tin so if I must get cash out I try and only take out what is needed (if going somewhere that doesn't have a chip&pin for instance) and put any left over change into that. I did that from January this year and somehow saved £44 for the summer holidays - work that one out!
Have a great weekendxx

Hi Sassy,
Thank you for your encouragement babes, it helps to know that someone is reading my ramblings xxx
Yesterday's spends were a bit ridiculous to be honest.
£27 on clothes for the kids.
£14 on DDs glasses
£10 on lunch
£20 on fuel
£20 on replacing a game controller for my DS that was stolen when we had the break-in.
That was yesterday, today we went to a theme park had a great day. my spends today =
£68.05 to CC not as much to CC as I wanted from OT but a lot of that income went to yesterday's spends.
We brought sandwiches from home and drinks from home too.
I'm doing more OT tomorrow night to will definitely be having some money you throw at debt next week. I didn't have time to reduce credit limit today so will phone up tomorrow.

Abit of pointless rambling:
From the 9th August My credits to my account on my credit statement is showing at £930.63!!! And debits is a glorious £0.00.
£91.48 interest was added to my CC balance last month I'm hoping this month the interest will be a lot less. I have until the 4th to make payments to my CC before interest is added again so every pound and penny counts.
I cancelled my expensive gym membership a few months ago, so I could join a much cheaper one. But I haven't got round to it, my mood around the house has been really low lately. Following a few big arguments I need to get back to doing things that make me happy rather than focusing to much on the little things in the house. I've been getting upset on things not been tidied up, or DIY that's been waiting for weeks on end to be finished. I really love going to the gym so I'm going to get back into it. My life at the moment is work and clean up the house which is turning me into a moaning wife and mum. I've got a very cheap gym by me at only £17.95 a month much cheaper than the £40 a month I was paying. Best of all it's open 24 hours a day which is perfect for my shift work pattern.
I think going to gym will help my sanity and stop me moaning so much at home.
Nothing else useful to report really, looking forward to going to work to earn some dough. Love overtime it's really helping me meet my goals this time round. Got 41 days left off my "clear a debt in 100 days challenge" so I should get rid of CC by then.
My next challenge is going to be the car finance I'm hoping to overpay a minimum of one months payment each month. So that's an extra £358 per month. I will make this payment on the days I get paid. I'm looking forward to starting this challenge.
That's enough for one day I think no spends expected today.
