Right then,
Epic fail I've signed up to a new contract on Vodafone but for good reason..it turns out my usage is 970 min per month ( I talk a lot) on the giffgaff plan I will need to spend £20 per month to get the same as what I'm currently getting so they gave me a special discount. I get my same unlimited min, unlimited text and internet for £23.50 yes that's £3.50 more per month however I do get an iPhone 4S which is much better than my iphone 3 that's fallen apart. (I hang my head in shame) however I currently pay £37 -£40 per month so I'm still saving £16.50 a month.
In other news I phoned WFTC and updated them, I will wait for the new amount before going to get car sorted. So I've got an accurate figure for monthly income. Let's hope my willpower is stronger than I was with vodafone. Although I'm sure I've made the right choice especially knowing how many minutes I use.

Morning
If you're on unlimited mins then it probably is a better deal. If you went over on your mins on payg would it work out the same? Plus you got a new phone which will have saved you money on getting one at full price. If it makes you feel better I think I would have gone for the deal.

Well tomorrow is my birthday and payday :j
I'm going to paying a majority of my CC off tomorrow. There will be £450 left on it which is what my oH owes on it. So technically i would have finished paying it as a debt but will wait for the statement to read zero before I update my signature and celebrate.
That will be my only overpayment this month I've made some envelopes for this month one for petrol £120, one for ingredients for home made lunches £40 and one for the girls dance £40 for overspend and one spare money £40 for when I just need some dough for stuff. I'm learning as I go each month what I need and decided that I need these envelopes to stop me going over my budget
My new phone comes tomorrow :j
When I get my new WFTC award I will do a new budget plan so I can pay off my bursary next :-)3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Happy birthday and congrats on the ccNumber of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0

So at the age of 31 my total debt now stands at £1,313.53 (includes CC and student bursary.)
At the beginning of my journey in January my total debt was £4,919.34 today it stands at £1,313.53 :T
I'm over the moon I know initially my plan was to clear by the end of March but I didn't end up doing the ebay etc to raise the extra cash to do it. But I've paid an amazing £3,605.81 off my debt just by cutting down I can't believe it :j and being more money savvy.
Taking lunch to work, putting the kids on sandwiches, phoning everyone to get a cheaper deal does pay off. For the first time in forever I have savings put aside for in case of emergencies and Xmas. Anyone reading this who is in a situation where switching to 0% deals isn't an option and interest is building every month I would highly recommend the paying a visit to the challenges section, especially the tackling the debt 1% at a time really helped me. I will be using the 1% method to clear my bursary next.
Right I'm off to enjoy my birthday now have a great day everyone I can't stop smiling :-) thank you to everyone who has been reading my thread and commenting you've really helped me. The encouragement on here is what keeps me on the MSE wagon.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
