My other big spend this week was hiring my cap and gown for graduation. would rather have paid off CC with the money but at least it's paid for without using CC.
Busy day ahead
Bums and tums class - after Beyonce's concert (paid for before Xmas) last week I want a toned tum :rotfl:
2 forms to fill in and post
Help sister with packing
4 wash loads -so glad washing machine is fixed
drop daughter to sleep over after school
Book hair appointment
Go into loft and get suitcases down for sister
Get eyebrows done
Catch up with ironing
Pay after school club
congratulations on the graduation, bet be lovely day, (many yrs ago), I did a HNC Business and we had the graduation for the college - the ceremony at the local Abbey and then afterwards at a wildlife centre, - didn't go the ceremony for Foundation degree - too expensive - and a kick up the rear to finish my degree.. at this rate the yr dot!

Morning!
Did you get your list done?
The fact your CC could be paid by end of the month is great so I wouldn't stress about the student bursary. You can sort that next with the extra money from not paying the CC. Will be gone in no time I'm sure.xx

I've missed you diary xxx
I've been doing the worst shift combinations ever, a mix of 12 hr night and day shifts I just didn't have time to catch up on here.
Hey sassy I did all my list except for my eyebrows I've decided I want a new shape threaded so Im Growing them out a bit more.
So other than working I've been helping my sister pack and I've been to the gym twice  I've done a bums and tums class and a Zumba class. I forgot how much I love classes and how I good I feel afterwards. Really helped my recent low mood. Just got to decide wether to take the plunge and sign up for membership or give it abit longer. It's made me feel so good though the gym membership could be my treat I suppose....there is a new gym by me opening called point gym but never been there however they don't have contracts and the monthly fee is half the price of where I'm going at the moment, but where I go now has steam room and pool (small leisure centre). The point gym doesn't have the same facilities. Food for thought.
I also got caught out on spending an unplanned £100  the 2 DS's upcoming show requires a photoshoot beforehand with set make up. When I open the kits everything was running low.
I brought all make up from poundland and 99p store (1 x item at boots) and topped up on toiletries that were running low or empty = £40
I had to buy another costume for DS1 but went to market and haggled from £20 to £10.
I needed two new shoes for work one for theatre cases one to wear at work, went to shoe zone = £15
Then had a debt of £40 to pay at dance when girls were away for half term.
So I didn't get to make an overpayment on CC. I did get new CC statement new balance £793.58. I'm so happy this figure is dropping I never thought I would see the day.
Plus this month I've had two family birthdays (1 more to go) and didn't use credit card or littlewoods account. :j
Mother in law pays £250 towards dance but think I may have to start putting aside a small amount in a shoebox each week to cover more expensive times. (I've got enough bank accounts at the moment can't handle anymore at present)
Finally just when I thought I had hit the nail on the head with hubby,
He said to me at the beginning of the week I've opened a saving account  I was excited then he said so I can save for a mg!!!! I still haven't responded.....I'm not impressed, he already has a car in the garage his "refurbishing" been in there for two years half stripped. He said his also going to start doing work on this car again. :wall:
This in addition to one of his other expensive hobbies he spent £350 on this last week. I'm all for people having a treat but I was hoping seeing me and the kids cut back and sacrifice he might see sense. Well talk to him about it after my shift tomorrow I'm too tired today and I will only end shouting.

Morning
If you can't ramble here where can you ramble? I can imagine how frustrating it must be to clearly be doing all this work and just one person isn't helping/making things worse. I've a friend going through a similar thing atm and I wish she'd taken your advice and left it to discuss when she wasn't tired as major barney was had (coffee, tissues and a solid shoulder were provided. The hallmarks of a good friendship that they're always available!). Hope you work things out in a way that suits everybody.

Wow where has the time gone! Time for an update!
I've been working funny shifts and with family birthdays being in overdrive I've been out a lot the past week.
Money wise I've been good with the spending going to poundland for kids lunches etc and using special offers. Not been able to make any extra payments this week. Had to pay for a few prescriptions from the doctors and DD lost her buspss which I had to replace. Also helping sister out has cost me a small fortune in petrol. Petrol budget totally blown this month.
I'm going to sort my car out in the next few weeks and have gone from finding my dream car (again) with all the options (2nd hand from dealership) my original car had before it was stolen. But I've decided to downgrade still getting a golf but without so many extras so it will be cheaper. One thing driving my little old banger to and from work has taught me is as long as it gets me there the rest don't matter much. I would rather have the extra money to go on holidays and save towards a house.
So that's it really not much else to report I put a few bits in ebay which didn't sell. I've decided ebay isn't for me. I found posting pictures and listing very time consuming and tedious. So I'm building a collection up and will do what I usually do car boot it and what doesn't sell send to charity shop.
I've also been going to the gym and have decided the money I'm saving from council tax (I had budgeted £135 but it's less than that) I'm going to use for gym membership. I know I will actually go because I've been going on my days off or before a night shift. It's really changed my mood. I'm feeling a lot happier and I have more energy. Previously my days off were spent sat in bed on the ipad now I'm at the gym first thing doing a class then I make the most of the rest of my day. :j kids and hubby have also noticed a change in my mood. Nice to be doing something for me.
So that's it, counting down four days to payday and my birthday :j I will be 31  I still feel 18:rotfl: going to review figures see if I can still clear CC at the end of month. Looking forward to phoning mobile phone company and cancelling contract back to pay as you go for me. (Contract ends in April) £10 per month instead of £40. Thank goodness for FaceTime audio get to chat to sisters for free without using topup mins. SO I know I won't go over £10 per month budget ;-)
I need to update signature I still haven't moved money from birthday account into my account for presents brought this month 4 birthdays in one month was a lot.
I'm still taking my lunch to work and kids have got used to taking lunch to school again. It's costing me about £9 a week for 3 of them and they are bringing in such a variety rice pudding pots, cereal bars, custard pots, fruit. much better than spending £30 a week on just the older two lunches.
I'm off to write up Aprils budget...will post it on here when I'm done so I stick to it :-)3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Oooohh,Trixxibel:you are back!!!
I have been keeping an eye out for you,but no sign.Lovely to see you again.
You are sounding so positive,it is wonderful.
I have never tried to sell on ebay, but at the moment I am selling afew bits and pieces on facebook selling pages. Not as much as I like, but getting afew pounds here and there. But the reason I don't do too much selling on even fb is the faff of taking photos(don't know how to do it),then spending over an hour every evening bumping my ads.I am now desperate to clear out my loft,so everything is going to charity at the moment. No money in doing that, but it does avoid the faff.
It is great you are enjoying the gym_we all need something to do "just for us".
Take care,I shall continue to check in xSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Nice to see you back Trixxibell!
Well done on downsizing the car choices. And the lunches too. Good luck with the gym too. It's always nicer to go when it's better weather as I find with the coldness I like to just get back home & get snuggly warm. If it's helping your mood too that's an added bonus!

Thanks ladies sorry for the absence..
Thanks sassychick kids and oh have noticed an improvement on my mood since going to the gym and I'm feeling much better. Your right the weather makes a difference.
Saver upper have you thought of a car boot then what doesn't sell drop it all at the charity shop that's what we do...nice little income without the faff of taking photos.
Im about to make three phone calls I've been putting off..so I'm doing list on here to make sure I do it..
Calling WFTC to update OHs pay rise
Chasing up my PPI claim
Phone vodafone tell them I won't be renewing contract :-( going back to pay as you go on giffgaff network. A very big step for me  but I'm addicted to reducing my monthly outgoings means I get to have a holiday account soon.
Better get on with it. :j3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
