What is it? Is it actually for his relative? My first though was that it was a surprise present for you I though maybe for Valentines day? Maybe he had it delivered to his family for safe keeping? Or maybe he did buy them a present and it was a spur of the moment " Oh so and so would love that, and it's half price, I know we're trying to save money at the moment"? The annoying thing is, all he needed to say was 'I've seen this great present for Great Aunt Mabel, it's half price but may be gone by payday, would we be really stretched if I get it?'
You'd have either replied, 'Oh go on, I know her ski gear is full of moth holes, we'll manage somehow' or 'Sorry love, we really, really can't afford it until payday'
All would have been calm in the Victory household and the dog wouldn't have to have fajitas for dinner.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
