They are going on holiday, not looking for work. They will be committing fraud if they do not sign off.

You do seem to have very little regard for following the rules of claiming, may I ask, has this ever lead to you being sanctioned?

they can do both, you do not have to look for work 24/7...yet.

Answering your question would be accepting I agreed with the premise of it, that I do not follow the rules, so i will not answer it.

I will repeat tho, looking for work and taking the kids on holiday can both be done at the same time, without breaking the rules.

Please point to official guidance that states someone can holiday outside the UK and still claim JSA. Or, more helpfully, please stop making things up as you go along!

As I explained last time you were making things up, the govt do not produce guidance on 'things sniggings makes up'. If your assert something to be true, it is for you to back it up with proof. You can do that, can't you?

I think you have lost your train of thought :D I wasn't asking you to prove my statement but to prove your statement.

You claim there is a rule that says you can not go abroad and still claim, lets see it then...back with us now? :rotfl:

    Try this https://www.gov.uk/jobseekers-allowance/eligibility

Seems clear that you must be in England, Scotland or Wales and be able and available for work.

If you are abroad on HOLIDAY you are neither of the above!

the OP is in the UK, that does not say they can not take a holiday aboard.

Sorry but are you thick, do not understand the link or just trying to be an asshat?

To be eligible the claimant has to BE in Scotland, England or Wales, not the UK as rules are different for NI.

If they are on holiday overseas, how exactly are they in the UK? How are they also available for work if they are not in the UK?

quote from your link "you need to tell us as it MAY affect your claim" it does not say you are not allowed.
