You are coming across as one of those people who feels they have to say something on every subject even when they know nothing about it.that point was made and i answered it.
That can be disastrous to vulnerable people needing accurate and truthful advice - because there are so many pitfalls in the benefits system

Hmm you are assuming they have diplomatic immunity and don't need to show their passport at passport control. You'll get thanked for your advice when she get's banged up for benefit fraud...no need to tell them.
you can sign yourself sick for 2 weeks as well, no sick note needed, I wouldn't do a rapid reclaim as it can take weeks, so not so rapid and not sure if you still have to wait the 3 or is it 7 waiting days now, which means no benefit for the first 3 or 7 days, so your holiday could cost you a weeks benefit.
I think in situation like this, you should be allowed to give the kids a holiday, especially when someone else is paying for it.0
