I've occasionally joined the flylady thread, they are so supportive I really recommend you join them; I rarely managed more than level 1 but that was a great help in getting my house up together
looking around me now I think I need to sign up again

I tried doing this, I made a pretty list of rooms to do on each day of the week, put it on the fridge to make sure I saw it......and it makes me feel guilty every time I open it, because I put it there two months ago, and haven't started yet!0

gilly1964 - I used to go on the Flylady thread and found it really helpful too. After a year or so I decided to stop going on the thread though because I found I was spending too much time reading and replying rather than doing!!!
By then I'd incorporated the principles into my every day life anyway, so I can keep on top of the housework. None of my family would believe this, but now my mantra is 'a place for everything and everything in its place'. I used to be the world's untidiest person!0
