Don't believe a word of this. Fifteen year old child in foster care. Son of foster carers thinks it's OK to ply child with alcohol and snog her whilst parents, presumably, look on fondly. Wife of said lecherous pervert, rather than RUN A MILE, decides to bleat on about it on the interweb. Oh, and they've got triplets.

You couldn't make it up.. oh wait one, yes you could.

OP, if what you say is true, there's a vulnerable child who is at risk from an inadequate foster placement where a sexual predator is being given access by the foster "carers". You should contact the relevant social services "on call" team.

    As I say, if...

If not her child, what about when they are teenagers and bring friends / girlfriends home? I wouldn't feel comfortable with that knowing he is attracted to under age girls.

Given that she is 16 shortly and he has history of ephebophilia with a pervious 16 year old gf when he was 25 (technically she is too old for him to exhibit !!!!!phila) I would be more concerned about when they reach 16.

The OP is 100% correct - there is a nutter in this scenario. Fortunately, it isn't her!

What man in the western world, of reasonable intelligence, capable of reading the newspapers or hearing the evening news, and having some degree of awareness would willingly put himself into a situation so fraught with risk of misinterpretation and imminent danger to his reputation, career, marriage, liberty...?

What parents (whether natural or foster) could witness such an upset from their daughter in law and not even pause for one moment to consider the 'accusation' nor their d-i-l's obvious distress?

    Blase ones? Naive ones? Fools?

    Jeremy Forrest, anyone?

    Good luck, OP.

Fluffnutter,I agree! I hope in one way, you and I are wrong because I don't like accusing people inaccurately, but, in another way, I hope we're right because the OP might do something about it like reporting to the authorities.

I responded as if the OP is genuine because the scenario is so serious if true. However, your view has more than crossed my mind!

How do any of us know if any thread is genuine or not?

We dont, we choose to respond or not to respond as we see fit.
  • To the OP. If indeed you are genuine I real feel for you.

This guy sounds like a manipulative so and so. DO NOT let him change the way you saw this scenario. You are not crazy. Men like him just want to make you feel that way to take the heat off themselves.

Get on the council housing list and take your children far away from him. I would be very very worried at his actions. This girl is a vulnerable minor and he has clearly taken advantage. He sounds like a predator.

Ignore his family they are obviously just as potty as him and get away from them all.

  • Did this all happen in the land of make-believe? Doesn't the fact that the OP is a new member set alarm bells ringing? These bizarre posts are either part of some creative writing course or someone has gone off their trolley and gets a laugh out of all of this.
