They are much cleverer than you, so they can get by on much less work.

No you dont aim at it, but you work there as you will need the cash to live. Im in the process of applying everywhere as my job is a winter job and I have about £100 left to live off. So Im applying everywhere just to get some cash!!
You aim at working in the industry you have chosen, but jobs like this will not come straight away (unless you are lucky). So you work in any job you can get (maybe fast food) and every day you apply for the jobs you want. You continue to chase up vacancies, or write to different companies until something comes your way!!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
Unfortunately Phil there aren't enough 'top jobs' for everyone in the country and from how you react to people on here you probably could benefit from working in some kind of service industry. Amongst other things it would teach you team skills (one of the most prized things in any industry), people and problem solving skills and possibly most important for you when to bite your tongue as it is your fault sometimes.0

I have worked as a cleaner, a waitress and in a printers office. They all gave me skills I still use.
I had to get a job,any job as long as it paid. I have a good job now.
So whats your point? You haven't moved off this pc in 3-4 days, have you? Another whinge time?
My parents used to say the world dosn't owe you a living. So whats really your point, what have you failed to tell us that will clear you of responsability for your grade?

Why should you have a top job rather than anyone else, what is special about you?:beer:0 -

I want to know what makes all these other people special and allows them to have good grades and top jobs because I would like to special like them?:beer:0 -

well for a start I'm cleverer than you put that together with I went out looking for jobs back in september, applied to several companies and took many hours over preparing each application. Before each interview I spent time preparing answer to possible questions and how I would approach certain tasks that were likely to be set.
Furthermore I can work with people and don't make excuses for my flaws and failures - can you?0 -

Phil - you are 'SPECIAL'
the thing is some people are cleverer/more talented than others - thats sort of like asking why you aren't as good a footballer as any of the premiership players. Its natural talent.0 -

Complete bullsh!t. The current CEO or president of mcdonalds, one of the world's biggest companies, was promoted all the way up from the greasy kitchen.
