Nobody just walks into a 'top job'. I've got extensive experience of working in multiple sittuations, infact I started one job as a pint puller and ended manager in all but name. But working in a pub would be beneath you wouldn't it?
As I said earlier anything worth while you're going to have to work for.

Managerial skills are almost identicle in any workplace be it McDonalds or Government - if you don't have the skills to be a manager in McDonalds you don't have the skills to be one anywhere else.0 -

I don't know of anyone who hasn't worked hard to get a 'top' position. No one. So if you do, why not ask them:D .........no one n here has ever said they walked into there dream job after reading a pamphlet in the Dr's:rotfl: perhaps you are either makingit up or so jealous of everyone, that EVERYONE's life s better......
My son used to tell me at school EVERYONE had 1 of those ......... (insert latest toy) when in reality they didn't, it was pure jealously!

The managers are the people you see in a McDs with blue shirts on. See how many of them there are?
I happen to know 3 McDs managers - none of them did anything above A-levels, but have shown the company their willingness to work and learn.
If you are too stupid or lazy to achieve that then you can kiss the HE sector or local government, a long goodbye. Unless you mean cleaning the steps of your local council, a position in which you'd have considerably more dignity than you do right now.

I would not be able to work in a pub anyway as my hands are not steady enough and I would end up dropping glasses and spilling drinks. It has nothing to do with being below me. I do need a job that I am able to do.:beer:0 -

Is that a new excuse? Last time it was because you disapproved of pubs, even though you claim to enjoy visiting them yourself0 -

I would be a danger in a kitchen anyway and would get sacked in a week, so you are kidding yourself if you would think I could even hold the job long enough to get promoted.:beer:0 -

No, I have thought about it and I would end up spilling more drinks than I sold.:beer:0 -

So every employer will never never interview me as they judge me a failure from the start. That is slightly different from never doing a degree and so you have not failed as you have not attempted. But I will be classed a failure by every employer no matter for what ever job I try for.
Er, EXCUSE ME. I spent most of my weekend sorting out your CV, and actually, your uni class is the least important thing on it. You need to sort your attitude out because that CV should get you interviews galore (as long as you apply for the right kind of jobs).
Clearly I wasted my time (why oh why did I not listen??) :wall::wall::A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5
