grumbler answered this in post 3.lulubelle41 wrote: »However, on one day at 14.21; 99,999,940 bytes of usage was detailed (= 95.3673MB) NOT just once but FIVE times. Totalling 476.84MB and costing £3814.69.
The following day, at a strangely coincidental time of 14.21; 99,999,940 bytes of usage was detailed NOT just once this time, but SIX times. Totalling 572.20MB and costing £4577.63.
As has been said earlier, Orange won't be billed in real time by the Canadian network, it may even be that they only get billed daily, which is why the charges are at 14.21 (which could be when it was applied to your account by Orange, not necessarily when you used the data).
So how much data does your phones in built counter say you have used?0 -

Hi mije1983
No info from Orange when I text them. All clear. Only the Angel App says £2.37 debit.
I appreciate the delayed roaming charges which why I cannot understand the other days which are completely random charges.0 -

Which is exactly what I did0 -
Well tell them how much data your phone says you have used then - if you checked it, you must know how to find out this information?lulubelle41 wrote: »Humprey10

I suspect your phone was downloading an update as others have said.0 -
Again, what I was asking is :
Is it possible to use 572.20MB a day, let alone in a minute, if NOT watching a video, nor downloading songs, nor casually browsing the web, nor downloading 100's of photos to facebook or sending 100's of emails?
On one day at 14.21; 99,999,940 bytes of usage was detailed (= 95.3673MB) NOT just once but FIVE times. Totalling 476.84MB and costing £3814.69.
Has anyone any knowledge of how to investigate this?0 -
A £30000 bill for something that would cost about £10 to provide, Orange are taking the p1$$!!0

Yes, see post #3.lulubelle41 wrote: »Is it possible to use 572.20MB a day, let alone in a minute, if NOT watching a video, nor downloading songs, nor casually browsing the web, nor downloading 100's of photos to facebook or sending 100's of emails?
But the question is, did your phone actually use that much data? Only you can answer this question.0 -

Having text Orange, as I said earlier, there seemed to be no problem.0
