Orange-horror itemised phone bill from Canada

Then you'll have the proof to tell Orange that the bill is rubbish then if your phone shows you didn't use this amount of data.
There is no reason in business that the cost of an item has to reflect anything like it costs to produce. The company I work for has margins on some products of 100%, they cost us literally nothing to provide and the whole revenue is profit. Take another extreme example, what about an artist - a bit of canvas, some paint and a bit of time yet works can sell for hundreds of thousands, if not millions without any semblance of reason between the cost of inputs and the cost of the output.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Your phone tells you the precise amount of data that you used. How much does it say you used?If you want to resolve this, you'll need to tell us how much data your phone says that you used.So have you checked / did you check on your handset how much data you used?So how much data does your phones in built counter say you have used?Humphrey10 wrote: »Well tell them how much data your phone says you have used then
Any chance you can tell us how much data your phone says it has used on the in-built counter? Rather than an amount from the app, what's the MB usage from the phone itself?0 -

NO.NO.NO and NO.
Hope you get the gist.
Could say the same thing to you. Post 3 answered yr question. If you feel you havent used this amount of data, then yr proof will be by doing what humphrey10 says.
Most posts relating to data use abroad are to do with disputing costs and data used and how they can get out of paying the bill. You dont seem worried at all by the sums involved.0 -
I was caught out whilst roaming - mobile data was turned off (and had been for 6 days). I was relying in WiFi, so this was kept active.
The reason why I got caught out, was because I went to a location where a WiFi repeater of a cellphone provider seamlessly provided connectivity. Suddenly, all the Apps pending updates seeing WiFi called 'home' and I got a bill of £490 when I realised what was happening (this was in Israel).
One to watch - but unless the network offers a goodwill reduction, the chances of a successful challenge is limited due to the accreditation of the billing systems, and that an agreement exists that you agree to pay costs racked up by third parties/networks.0 -

Please remember what I was asking which is:-
Is it possible to use 572.20MB a day, let alone in a minute, if NOT watching a video, nor downloading songs, nor casually browsing the web, nor downloading 100's of photos to facebook or sending 100's of emails?
Can anyone tell me if 99,999,940 bytes (95.3673MB) are the maximum able to be detailed at any one time?
Has anyone received this sort of information on their bill?
On one day at 14.21; 99,999,940 bytes of usage was detailed (= 95.3673MB) NOT just once but FIVE times. Totalling 476.84MB and costing £3814.69.
However, on other days a totally random amount of bytes were used at random times totalling £59.03 - which to my mind is slightly more believable.
I require help with the questions above. That is all I am asking.0 -

Well as this has already been answered in post 3, I can only assume that the answer you were given is not what you wanted to hear.lulubelle41 wrote: »Can anyone tell me if 99,999,940 bytes (95.3673MB) are the maximum able to be detailed at any one time?
Have you tried to contact the Canadian network to see if they can answer this question? Surely they would be best placed to advise on how they bill roaming charges to foreign networks? If it's that important to you to know the answer to this, it should have been an early step.0 -
Yes, I have contacted the Canadian network. AT &T.0

And have you looked at the data records on your phone to see what applications have been using the data?0
