Where does the time go? I have fallen a little behind in the challenge but hoping to "Pay it back" as I need to get about 60 miles completed before we hit the halfway mark at the end of June.
I'm glad we all set targets though, I need a good kick up the a**e to keep me going sometimes0 -
I did 28 miles on Sunday and then had to really force myself to do another 10 yesterday – I really didn’t want to do it and halfway round I got caught in the pouring rain and wondered to myself why I was doing it!0

Managed to put in a PB of 22:18 at my local parkrun on Saturday, and turned out a 10k before work this morning. Still slightly ahead of target, but it's catching up on me as I've been giving running the back seat in favour of finishing another big project at the moment. Got a couple of races this weekend and next though, and the distractions can't last forever. Here's hoping. If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0

You didn't remind me
. How did it go?
I forgot, sorry.:o
It went ok thanks. The first 2k was fine and then my ankle started playing up again. I had to stop and walk a few times because of this. and I got pins and needles part way through. Chip time was 1:22 something. Slow I know; but it would have been faster if I didn't need to keep stopping.
I think I almost fell over at some point too.:oSealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Oh dear - what is wrong with your ankle? Also 1:22 is pretty amazing for a half - I'm just aiming to get down to 1:30 - so well done!0 -

It was a 10k. Not done a half yet. Not too sure what's wrong with it. I know the pins and needles didn't help.:(Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

May was a good month for me.
50.7 miles in the month (my best month ever), taking me to 132.5 miles for the year which is 53% of my yearly target.
Signed up to my first ever half marathon and finally registered for my local parkrun and ran my first one on Saturday in 22:59.2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0 -

I don't think there is anything worse than being caught in the rain when running....actually yes hail!!2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0 -

Rain doesn't bother me and is in fact, welcome sometimes. I've been caught in hail twice this year. To make it slightly worse, the first time, I had hail behind me and wind coming towards me. It was, er, interesting. And bloody painful!Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
