Hi all. Not managed to get on for a while and keep you updated. Hope everyone is enjoying the challenge.
I've just had a tot up and as of Monday I was on 561km (348miles) so far so around 70% of my target. I've done an 8km training session since Monday but now I'm on a rest until Saturday as doing a 5.5km race up Pen y Fan. No PB's likely to be broken though with nearly 600m of climb. Aiming for under an hour!
Most of my Parkruns are done with a pushchair so no PB's so far this year although I've got my time down to 23:30 with the pushchair. As the weather dries up I may get a chance to do one without the pushchair and see if I can get a PB.Running challenge 2014 = 689k / 800k0 -
I'm running 52 miles on Sunday. That will up my mileage for the year.0

Had to cut this morning's run short due to runners trots.
Will try again tomorrow, I think.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I'm such a failure! I've not been running since the beginning of May
No excuses really, I did try while I was on holiday but it was too hot, and when I got back, I was offered an allotment and all my spare time has gone into that
But. My 10k is 2 weeks away
I'm gonna go for a run in the morning and see just how badly my levels have dropped. Think it's gonna be pretty intense training for the next coupe of weeks:eek:

My run this morning wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although I think my runkeeper might have been a bit off colour- it had me down as doing 2 sub 4 minute miles!
This is an impossibility for me. Three months ago I was at 10 mins for a mile.
I will be running daily between now and race dayI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I am never doing that race again. 7 miles and 7 hills. At least it wasn't some really early start.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

That's a shame
Despite a long break, I've found it quite easy to get back into running, and have realised that once I get past the initial out of breathness at about five mins, I can go further and for longer with only taking the odd 30 seconds to walk :j

July's update from me 40.7 miles run, so up to 216.2 miles for the year or 86.5% of my original target.
I should hit my 250 mile target in AugustHowever my revised target is 300 miles/500km, which hopefully I'll manage ok!!
