I wasn't planning on 5k, it just kinda happened. Now the evenings are lighter, I've started to run on grass- I don't think I like it, my body certainly doesn't
Will that change do we think? Will I get used to running on grass?
You will get used to it, yes.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Oh dear!
Ran 4k on Monday with club and then took a bit of a tumble. Predictably, I grazed my knee. I also injured my shoulder.
I ran yesterday to see how my knee was holding up. It's fine; but a bit achy.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Grrrr, I had a post all typed out and lost it
I amto say that I've not been out running properly since 4th April
I tried on the following Tuesday and really struggled to cobble together a simple mile
And now I've got a blimmin cold that is yucky and horrible so can't go out running until that's passed (from previous experience I know for me that it's best if I don't)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I was stupid enough to run on Saturday and this evening with a cold. I should be ok. Or at least I hope I will be.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Still recovering from running the "Great" Welsh Marathon on Sunday. Busted out a time of 04:20:03 and came 145th out of a field of 214 runners. Haven't really come down from the emotional high yet.If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0

I went out for a short 2 miler today. Despite my cold, it felt good and the only problem I had was I had to blow my nose a few times :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I was fine last night. I'm fine when I run; but when I'm not running, my nose is a problem.:( You may find that breathe right nasal strips help. I'm having to wear them at night in order to breathe for now.
Got in last night, sat down and was having some dinner. My dad then asks "did you fall over again tonight?":rotfl:Even I'm not that clumsy.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
