I did back to back 13 miles runs this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The
weather was beautiful and I have a nice scenic route, so it was very enjoyable.
Also Saturday and Sundays are my long slow runs, so I was running at a very
slow 10 minute mile pace as that is what I want to do my ultramarathon at
(actually ended up being nearer to 9.30min mile pace despite trying to go
slower). This meant that when I got back I felt absolutely fine, much more
enjoyable than my shorter quicker runs in the week!0 -
Well, I've jumped back on the bandwagon today with just over 2 miles after work. I think I need to get a headband though, it's now too mild to wear my hat & running jacket, but the cold breeze seems to be killing my ears! As stated in my last post I missed out on being able to run for almost 2 weeks so I decided to repeat week 4 of the couch to 5k podcasts and really didn't think I'd be able to do it, but with some determination and self inflicted mind-games I managed to do it all :rotfl:£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

I missed yesterday's run because I ached so much from digging in the garden
so I went out tonight instead
Now it's getting a bit lighter in the evenings we've got a new 2 mile route which is quite flat but does have a couple of "hills". To me they're mountains :rotfl:
We did that plus another half mile, running and walking but mostly running

I know the feeling. Today I had to walk up one of Bristols biggest hills :eek:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I used to live in London. Unknown to me, there was a station not far from me which had 320 steps to the exit. Silly me, got off at that station and had to walk up all those steps.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
