afm. Nothing much to report here. Packed my hospital bag last night. Finally have everything on the list. Now just have to wait until scan and sweep next week or they give me an induction date.

If it makes you feel better Birdie, they haven't even looked properly for a replacement for me yet and the piece they tell me they are most worried about is all the knowledge they are losing rather than who will run certain processes!

Countdown to ML is good, 10 days left for me, of which 3 have most of the afternoon out for ante-natal classes...shame!

Welcome 9ja4life and Luella-14. Team Lilac or Purple is a great idea You excited to be having two or still in shock?

Piece of advice ladies, keep a pack of big pack of sanitary towels around, if your waters go panty liners just won't cut it lol and if you decide to keep your hospital bag in the car whilst getting checked out then put some spare knickers and a few pads in your handbag. I didn't think to and my knickers end up soaked as I was on a monitor for an hour so couldn't move. Ended up coming home in a pair of hospital disposable knickers which are made of netting lol

Thanks for the advice TL You've just reminded me to get some disposable knickers (extra big to go over belly button in case of CS) and maternity pads from Boots.

Just think you'll probably be seeing baby today! Isn't it 24hrs from waters breaking to being induced/monitored/CS?

Midwife has just left having done second sweep, not much change :-(
Fingers crossed this one has some effect!!!
9 days over and sooo fed up! Have stopped myself driving too so practically housebound!
Booked in for induction on Tuesday, hopefully they will send me home after the pessary until it all kicks off - so this time next week our family of three should be a family of four!!

I didn't think they could/would do that? It's a big part of what puts me off induction too. ..
