Well apparently baby doesn't want me to go speak to medical students or let her auntie be right...
My waters broke at about half three this afternoon, been to hospital and all was fine on the trace. Because I'm three days short of full term it had to be a doctor who did the internal examination and I'm at 1cm, Dr was very insistent that I'm to go straight in if my contractions get stronger as she reckons it'll be quick being early and waters already gone. If nothing overnight they're making me an appointment in the morning for a scan and will have another trace
Sorry for my potential queue jumping ladies!Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Wowzers TeamLowe, quite the afternoon for you! Big hugs and all the very best for your labour
I'm off out for a drink tonight, looking forward to a last catch up (hopefully!) before the baby comes.
We also have another name for the shortlist, courtesy of DD ... "Coco the tiny baby dinosaur." At least we won't have to worry about there being lots of them in the same class at school :rotfl:0 -

Evening everyone,
I have an issue I am going to have to see the Dr or Midwife about.....I keep leaking wee. It usually happens if I laugh too much or cough and I wonder if its baby sat on my bladder. I am doing some gentle exersizes, in the hope testing the pelvic floor to stop it happening. I am only 21+4 - think if it gets worse how I will be at 30+ weeks!
I did have terrible trouble with my pelvic floor after DS so might be that reoccuring - but that was after he was born.
Hold you boldies are all ok, and Rummer and Jox - hope I haven't missed their posts.xx
Me too, samtobyHad a few 'oops moments' with DD1, but it's definitely been worse this time - coughing and sneezing do it for me. I've been trying to do a lot more pelvic floor exercises this time around, but sometimes it feels a bit uncomfortable, so it's been a bit hit and miss. I know I should be doing as many as possible really.
Hope all you other ladies are doing your pelvic floor exercises too! :TMortgage when started: £330,995

Yay for the test being A-OK
I wasn't too bothered by the time the came and I could feel MiniZee moving around so much, but DH really wanted a 3D/4D scan (to bond etc) so we went for one at 31+4 and I'm really glad we did now, actually. Something to consider? There are groupon offers sometimes...
I had mine done on the 30th... didn't work for me ;)
Me too, still completely unconvinced it's ever gonna actually happen! :rotfl:
I thought I was very restrained only spending £20
Ooh good to know, thanksWeird that they're not on anyone's website but are being found in shops
V happy you're both home now Lily
I slept relatively well... yet I am knackered. This isn't going to change for months, is it?

Wow TeamLowe! I am excited for you!
Is anyone else finding being off work boring? I started annual leave this week and am bored already. I need my nesting instinct to kick in. My solicitor doesn't think we'll get the house by next weekI need it now! I need to sort things out before the baby is here. I keep looking at furniture for the house but can't order anything yet until we get a completion date. It's so frustrating, especially as we are on a timescale now.
I'm struggling with migraines again too which aren't helping, I had a monster of one yesterday and spent most of the day in bed feeling very sorry for myself. I need my house then I can evict this baby!0 -

Omg TL!!!!! Very excited for you!!
So pleased you made it this far before it happened!
I gave away a chest of drawers on a local Facebook group the other day to make way for the nursery furniture and now I've just managed to get some free new bottles & a manual breast pump off someone else that I can collect tomorrow! Love Facebook sometimes!0
