I'm sure I've read that the movements get smaller as baby has less space to move. You could always check with your midwife if you're worried.First date 10.2.2002

Ive read the same thing - but you should still call or go to the hospital if you are concerned. Its better to ask than not ask
Sometimes I have the opposite and I get such quick movement it scares me. Like just then it was like my stomach was shaking! I actually typed 'can babies have seizures in the womb' into google yesterday.. Turns out that shaking thing is totally normal and lots of people get it. Im just wondering what on earth she is doing in there sometimes! Then when I dont feel movement for a couple of hours Im panicking.
This afternoon I think her head was down and pressing on a nerve or muscle or something, I could feel a really hard bit, and then I got this awful pain on the bottom left of my bump, my leg/groin and down my thigh, I did have a little cry as I could barely walk or move, and DH propped me up in bed with pillows as I was trying to lie a certain way to get the baby to move off whatever she was pushing on! After a while she must have shifted. Im just scared it might happen when Im at work!
I go back tomorrow for 6 weeks. Not looking forward to it but Im sure someone on here the other day said they were thinking of it as 1 day closer to maternity leave which has helped me!I cant believe Ive been off for almost 2 weeks its flown by.
On the other hand I keep reminding myself to just be happy because when I was in the hospital I wanted nothing other than for everything to be ok and to just be at work.0 -
Mrs TM... I have huge boobs at the best of times, and for my first trimester they were soooo painful! I had to wear something for support, but I couldn't decide what. In the end a friend who had the same issues recommended the comfort bra from asda. I actually got similar in Sainsburys I think as I was there at the time, and it really helped. Gave me a bit of support, but felt like I wasn't wearing anything... sooo comfy!
Luckily I haven't really got leaky boobs yet (unless I squeeze them to check!) but if/when it happens I'll defo wear the comfort bra again to keep breast pads in place.

I found another tutorial on Pinterest yesterday and made a taggie for baby today, using more leftover curtain fabric. I have enough to make at least 2 more, so I think I'll make one for my friends bubba too, who is due 9 weeks after me. Exciting times!

I think were going for the Oyster too now.
I want to buy it from mothercare though and the mirror chassis we want is sold out so will have to wait. Kiddicare have it but I want to buy from a store that's closer to home incase of any issues later on!
Ali pops if the baby hasn't come by then I'd let your husband go but just say no drinking & then he can drive home like Emz suggested after the meal & speeches or first dance etc
I'd probably go myself if it was 45 mins away & hadn't had any inklings of labour or problems.
But like Jox said it's really hard to say what will happen down the line! I'd probably tell them I'd try to come but hubby would more likely be there he just couldn't stay late.
Plus as long as he had his phone on him you could always call him back early.
I'm going to the Glasgow Pram centre for mine. What is annoying me though is some of the 'descriptions' say from age 6 months... I assume this is for the pushchair part though and that they can use the carrycot from birth ? It started pickling my head overthinking it so decided to give up and see what they say when I go instore.0 -

Last week when we were near an asda store I tried on he biggest comfort bra they make. Didn't even fit over my head + arms!
Measured I am around a 42 FF now, but the 42 bit is already feeling very snug! The last two bras we bought (2 of the same, just one white, one black) are playtex and the shoulder straps and cups are wonderful, but the band is already starting to cut into me if I wear it for longer than 3-4 hours.
All of the bras I have other than those two are either underwire (the 4 I bought when I moved to the UK) or are extremely worn out with tiny cups (that also have a seam directly over the nipples...).
Tempted to not bother while I'm at home and while I'm out, just hope and pray I don't leak through my jacket. I don't have a coat that fits.0 -

Good luck, I had planned a trip into the Pram Centre, but was at the Fort and got a Mamas and Papas one there. It is mind boggling!0 -
Con you get the pushchair with the chassis so it'll be that they're referring to, carrycot is sold separately and definitely suitable from birth. Also even if you're buying somewhere else, check kiddicare for the colour packs as they have some of them at reduced prices, think the rrp is like £40 and we got a lovely claret one for the carry cot for £5!
Mrs TM could you get some breast pads and boob tape to stick them on with? That's if you can't find something along the lines of everyone else's more sensible suggestions lol
Eta: jus t seen your post, you can bra extenders on amazin for a couple of quid for a pack of three which might solve your band issues
Durham the movements I'm feeling now are definitely different to earlier in the pregnancy, more rolls and what feels like prolonged pushes against me rather than kicks. Sometimes it feels like she's making a concerted effort to heave her way out through my tummy wall, makes me smile thinking that she's spending this time plotting her escape and I'll go into Labour once she's figured out what her exit route is
Ali if it was me I'd tell the couple and possibly suggest that the groom has two best men- that way he won't be totally let down if your oh needs to be with you and your oh still gets to stand by his side if everything is okLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Squeeeee, I'm on the big list, thanks for adding me BZ, I can't believe I am here0 -
TL - I had actually thought of that!
Especially at night, because even though I don't move while I'm asleep, my boobs tend to migrate! Tried wearing a bra tonight. Got fed up with laying on my side and having the top boob fall completely out of the top of the cup while the band was squishing me. Needless to say, that idea has quickly been abandoned.0 -

Thank you, I thought this would be the case but it was confusing me lots, my brain has been so muddled today... just ordered a takeaway and ordered myself the wrong thing... sat in floods of tears when I realisedOH gave me some of his and saved the day a bit.
Will check kiddicare for colour packs, I think I will get the light green one but would also like some other colours, that's one of the reasons i'm liking the oyster as you can change0
