It's a tricky one if your friends don't know your pg, I didnt think I would be in hospital 8 weeks before due date and having the baby 5 weeks before so it's hard to plan anything that far in advance...

If they're good friends, they should completely understand. Especially if you are letting them know early rather than last minute messing around!

I think that it would be best for hubby to go the evening before, stay overnight and be there for groom the night before, then stay for the day until as late as possible (but without drinking) knowing that he can then come back should you need him, but he has supported the groom for the entire wedding. after the speeches and first dance I think it's less important that he's there. One of my bridesmaids arrived late and left early, but I was much more upset that she wasn't with me the night before (when I was having mild panic attacks) or for getting ready, than that she left early... there are lots of other guests in the evening! :)

Alipops unfortunately I think it's one of those things you will have to play by ear! If baby decides to come early there's not much anyone can do. My husband is sorting a stag do but we have managed to push it back a little, obviously you can't do that with a wedding. I'm sure they'll be fine when they know the situation

Jox hope you are ok x

BZ it's totally understandable that you are getting anxious. I hope little one doesn't keep you waiting much longer xx

Re washing, DH has terrible skin so we wash all our clothes in non-bio powder. Only wash our towels with fabric softener. Will do the same with baby clothes

    Congrats Lola :)

32 weeks tomorrow & feeling it!

I think were going for the Oyster too now.

I want to buy it from mothercare though and the mirror chassis we want is sold out so will have to wait. Kiddicare have it but I want to buy from a store that's closer to home incase of any issues later on!

Ali pops if the baby hasn't come by then I'd let your husband go but just say no drinking & then he can drive home like Emz suggested after the meal & speeches or first dance etc

I'd probably go myself if it was 45 mins away & hadn't had any inklings of labour or problems.

But like Jox said it's really hard to say what will happen down the line! I'd probably tell them I'd try to come but hubby would more likely be there he just couldn't stay late.

Plus as long as he had his phone on him you could always call him back early.

Don't get me started on the stag do Becca, they're having that in Newquay the weekend before the wedding!

I don't want to be the annoying wife who is trying to spoil their fun but I would be heart broken if hubbie missed anything and I'm sure he would to. Wouldn't be such a worry if the wedding was more local.

Ok, the leaky boob thing is beginning to get to me now. Just leaked on a fresh shirt! Is there any way of blocking/stopping the drippies without wearing a bra? None of my bras are comfortable enough to wear all of the time, and DH just shelled out £25 for two that are big enough/nice enough for me to wear when leaving the house. Before anyone says it, it's too flipping cold to go without a shirt! ;)

Mrs tm when I'm at home I have a sleep bra (http://www.needundies.com/bras/anita-maternity-crop-top-sleep-bra-5100.html) which I got from a local discount store for £1.99. Best thing ever! I can't go without pads at all now (I use reusables) so I wear this round the house & to sleep in

Alipops I think it's really hard to say how things will be but if he's best man, maybe they could move the stag do a little bit once the groom knows? I'm sure the groom would want him to be there.

You have reminded me I need to buy some bras - I am bursting and normally I have nothing!

Another power outage for us - sparks flying everywhere the trees at the back of the garden where the power lines are - I think another tree is down but the power line is definatly down!

It is stressing me out a bit as we only have our phones and a few torches and had not recharged them after the last power outage on friday - I don't want to walk around too much in case I trip - as our house is all different levels and I don't want to trip.

No sign of any leaks springing here yet thank goodness! I'm 35+2 and being induced in 3 weeks so fingers crossed I don't get any

I'm a bit concerned about babys movements, those who are further on - is it normal for them to be smaller kicks and wiggles etc at this stage? I'm still getting th just not as strong as before. My son was born at 34 weeks so everything from here on in is new territory! What I'm thinking is that baby has less space to move round in so the movements will be smaller? I'm at the hospital on Tuesday for a scan anyway (2 weekly scans as she is a titch plus them being cautious after my last pregnancy having to be induced).

Hope everyone is doing ok this evening and Rummer, hope the induction went well :)
