It's only colostrum, they're not going to fall off woman! Lol. mOnly kidding, least you're seeing some of it, I'm due this week and still not seen any!

Lol! I think I thought I wouldn't either so gave me a bit of a shock!
Haha Claire that did make me giggle, have you told DH yet? I have lost all shame about bodily functions - Friday afternoon shouting down the stairs "Think I've had my show!" (I have since had several "encores" lol .... clearly doesn't mean a lot in my case!)

Thanks for all the good wishes, feeling a lot happier today. I think part of it was the fact I'd got to an unexpected weekend with a bump iykwim.

I haven't yet not sure why though as I have no shame around him either! I don't know why I feel more embarrassed about this! I just got my pack from Emma's diary in boots it had a free breast pad - might come in handy earlier than I thought :rotfl:

Annoyingly they didn't have any left of the 2nd pack which is the one with all the free Johnson's stuff in so will have to try somewhere else another day.
  • Afternoon all;

Well a reasonably productive day so far at work. Although took a very quick walk out at lunch to that jewellers I was hoping to get my bracelet/charm sorted at and they are officially the least helpful store ever :( hmph not impressed! Going to check with the 'local' Pandora store (rather than a stockist) but that means £12+ and a three hour round trip which I really wanted to avoid :( Definitely going to email Pandora and complain too!

MIL is picking me up at work tonight and running me to Morrisons to take advantage of the Pampers offer than one of you lovelies posted on the Facebook group (sorry I can't remember who!) and grab some fresh fruit :)

Browsing the forums very early morning when I couldn't sleep and saw your news BigZ. I remember you from the TTC thread (I usually posted as Kaemi) and I just wanted to say a huge congratulations on your handsome little guy.

It was me. Glad it helped someone - gutted that our nearest Morrisons is over half an hour away especially as I've tried all nappies and Pampers fit Joshua the best. Xx

Aww claire, wait until you wake up in the middle of the night having soaked the bed in milk like I did last night! !!

Mincepie - I totally feel your pain, but it wasn't until I completely relaxed that she arrived, can you get a massage or something to help you relax? Only real solice I can give is that my LO showed no signs of actually being overdue when she did arrive, she still had vernix on her as well x

Yes! I had it with DD and again with this little one too. With DD it was the smell of tinsel (lucky she was a December baby, really!), I would literally just stand there in the shop with an armful of tinsel breathing it in. This time it's pine trees, whenever I walk past them I have to stop and indulge :Der 4

Oh I can completely understand that I think tinsel would smell amazing right now!
I was having this conversation with someone the other day. I love the smell of chlorine at the moment more than usual although it does make me a little light headed. Also bleach, when my OH was cleaning the bathroom the other day I could have just gone and chill out all day with that smell. My friend said her daughter was having the exact same feelings. Strange thing is I used to LOVE the smell of petrol and now struggle to not be sick everytime I fill the car up.

Yeah ladies on the B&B thread reported bleach as a good smell.

Also as for soap - one said she loved the soap smell so much she started eating bits!

Were going to be painting the nursery this week - good job most of the paint I bought is special non toxic stuff as I think Im gonna be standing there sniffing it, even just walking into the house you can smell like the cardboard from the furniture and some painty type smells and I want to breathe it in!

Thank you :-) they didn't have any suitable for us to stock up on but it was a great deal for mil to stock up on for neice/her dogs (better not to ask haha)

I got some great deals on some fruit and veg tho to kick start my new healthy wants and wishes :-)
