Thats why I refused to talk about names until we knew the sex. Girls we were agreed on but not 1 on boys, so I was like lets stop wasting time arguing over a boys name incase we're having a girl. Luckily it is or I think we'd still be arguing! :rotfl:

We won't know til he/she pops out lol!!

I refuse to have a nameless baby for longer than an hour or so... so OH better just agree or think of some suggestions !!

Drink more water? Make sure you have decent posture so it's not because of a strain on the muscles etc from shoulders to head?

Names..names...names... why does my OH not agree on ANY !!!!

I have 2 boy and 2 girl names and he's all 'meh. about them, does he have any suggestions? NO of course he doesn't.
Tell me about it... :p and I have a 1 day old still waiting on a name :p
Not that there's anything wrong with having a section :p
Or having a baby older than an hour with no name :rotfl:

A section would've been far more difficult for me (conditions wise) to recover from though ;):o

(Feels weird not posting how many weeks and days I am now!)

I can't believe your baby is here BZ. It is just so amazing and and it has been a privilege to share your journey over the last few years to this perfect outcome.
I hope I don't sound like a weirdo internet stalkery type, cos I'm not ;) (honestly) so, yeah, what I'm trying to say is congrats again xx

Have any of you developed a thing for liking weird smells in the third trimester?

I thought I was a weirdo but a quick google shows I'm not alone :)

I have been loving the smell of nail varnish remover, I literally could have sat and just breathed it in - clearly I didn't! Then I think when we were in homebase looking at paints which I like the smell of anyway but this time I'm like omg that smell is amazing. It's almost like I could eat it.

And all the stuff I like the smells of are like bad chemicals!

Lol have you ideas and just can't decide ?

My issues with naming are from when we got out dog, it took us ages to name him because OH didn't like anything. In the end we agreed but it wasn't my first choice.

I don't mind having a few definate suggestions there but not deciding which one til a day or so later but he actually likes NOTHING, baby can't be nameless forever lol :(

We both have our favourites but we can't agree. His favourite pretty much rhymes with our surname and I'm therefore not too keen. He doesn't like my favourites or just can't let go of his to consider any of mine or indeed any others full stop. And it's forever! We can't just change our minds willy nilly....

  • Oh BZ he is beyond gorgeous- no wonder you're smitten :-) I could sit and stare at everyone's new baby pics makes me crave labour haha!

Just packed bf off to Manchester airport for his trip to Canada - poor lamb has a flight to London then a flight to Toronto then a 2+hr road transfer to London, Canada! He's not the best flier and he likes his personal space and quiet times so hoping he doesn't get too stressed out with it all. Once he's handed his luggage over he'll be much happier as its a bit awkward with his new rugby chair as his wheel bag doesn't fit where it did on the old one so once it's loaded up with that and his case its more awkward to push :-\
So we got up an hour ago - went to bed at 9.30 last night...I finally got to sleep at some time between 3.30 and 4am...no point in going back to sleep though as I need a shower and then to get ready for work! Baby was having a party though as if she was reminding me that she's there with me :-) can't believe that two weeks on Wednesday we have our 4d scan and get to see her again!

I was having this conversation with someone the other day. I love the smell of chlorine at the moment more than usual although it does make me a little light headed. Also bleach, when my OH was cleaning the bathroom the other day I could have just gone and chill out all day with that smell. My friend said her daughter was having the exact same feelings. Strange thing is I used to LOVE the smell of petrol and now struggle to not be sick everytime I fill the car up.
