Aww Mrs_T_M hugs to you. Are you planning a postal application or a one day service? You could do an application fund. That's what I am doing as I have to change jobs after maternity leave and will have only a month left when I start job searching so have to complete a one day application. The cost is horrendous!
We will be doing the postal application, and hopefully we will be able to send it off by the end of April. I'd like to get the ILR before mini is here!
We have most of the money for it, and we've been saving £120 per month for what feels like forever. I'm mostly worried about the fact that for the past 3 months, we've been overdrawn in our bank account because I haven't been doing meal plans and I haven't been strict with what we've been eating. Those 'I don't feel like cooking, pick something up from the grocery store for tonight' nights really add up! I'm hoping that they don't care that we've been overdrawn. They seem to care more about the benefits claiming, which I haven't done, so we are good there. I have plenty of evidence that DH and I have been living together and still are, and I only have two stamps in my passport other than on my visa page showing when we were out of the country for a grand total of 8 days last year. I'm going to try to get most everything in order and in an envelope this week or next so that I won't have to deal with that later on. At least we won't be needing a solicitor for this one! I was detained and denied entry when I tried to visit then boyfriend in June 2011. Got married (we were planning to anyway) Dec 2011. Finally got the spouse visa and arrived here in April 2012. I was terrified travelling just on the spouse visa last year, and I swore that I wouldn't travel again until we had the ILR. Getting that will take a gigantic weight from both of our shoulders and allow us to relax a bit hopefully! Not to mention it will let us have a bit more money each month.
Wow, that turned into a book!!!
Congrats BZ!!!!
If you want someone to do the lists for a while (since I'm not due until June!) I volunteer. I'm kinda missing being able to do the ttc lists.0 -

:beer:Congratulations Big and Mini Zee..
Posted my story on the birth story thread for those that asked. Thank you to the ladies who have been so supportive right from the ttc thread, the 12 month plus thread and all the pregnancy threads. I learned so much from you all and appreciate all the support and shared stories. Will continue to lurk for news of all the ttc ladies. Going to go and enjoy some more cuddles from my boy. :j

Have started washing all of the hand-me-down baby bits and new bits so that I can go ahead and get them dry, folded and into the nursery. Also was able to get DH to move all of the boxes out of the nursery and into the spare bedroom! Now need to price some flooring (the carpet is mouldy!!!) for the nursery, ask the landlord if we can paint in that one room, if so, buy paint, stickers, etc, and do the room up so that we can get the furniture arranged. I'm hoping to have everything finished in there by 36 weeks, but we all know how plans go.
I don't know if I want to go just a dark-ish sky blue for the background for the stickers, or if I want to do an actual Mario scene with the green in as well. I'll only be doing one wall in Mario, the rest will be a colour to go along with it, but not part of it, if that makes sense.
I've had a bit of caffeine, so I'm bouncy today!!!

Congratulations BZ! Hope your recovery is quick and that you and Mini Zee are home soon. If you're comfortable to, please share a pic (completely understand if you don't want to / don't feel able to), we all need more cuteness in our lives!

Woop, woop many congratulations BZ!
Mrs_T_M - We were consistently overdrawn on both accounts when I put in for my spousal visa in 2012 as I was made redundant 4 months before and was unemployed. We had a mortgage tho and of course didn't claim benefits and had no issues.0
