And all the other things mentioned too. You can try and throw Apple Maps at me, but it'd fall meekly to the floor since it's great. Maybe you're believing the hype in the media as opposed to trying and using it yourself?

    What other things?
I dont need Apple maps,I have Google maps. The feature Apple chose to remove
you have yet to give me much in the way of features.
What do you use desktop media management for?
I have an online play store I can push any purchases/downloads to any of my devices
music is cloud based or on device at my choice
The default browser has desktop and mobile view. Which fits to the screen. So i dont see your point there?
silent switch on the side of the device? You mean a volume control? yup got one
So what are these amazing things the Iphone5 does from the box?
If you like it great, but you have yet to provide an argument for the OP as to what it does so well

    These things:

Lock screen notifications, lock screen music controls, a browser that fits content to the screen, silent switch on the side of the device, music and game volumes confusingly tied together and ignore silent mode of phone, no desktop media manager etc etc. All 'normal user' stuff missing from Android.

    yup,got music controls too
You appear to have failed to read.
Is the post too big for your screen?
so far all you have done is pointed out the HTC One is perfect for the OP :rotfl:

Ironically, you're the one who has omitted various elements of my post.

    Nope.

I've not found any missing "functionality".

iOS is great, what problems do you have with it?

Why would anyone need to carry around more than 64GB of music?

I've not found a need to use iTunes for anything. Everything I need to do is done over the air.

Typical response from iphone lovers who do not understand what really functionality is and are happy to live with tediously out of date of junk and come up with stupiid questions like "why would anyone want to carry 64GB" - maybe cos some of have that much and also I never mentioned the need to carry 64GB of music - maybe because its stored on my 160Gig ipod which has been resting in a cupboard for 6 years + as another useless junk from Apple.

Out of date junk? How's that file manager on Android; it's looking pretty rusty around the edges to me. If you're going to talk about out of date junk, at least get the comparison the right way around!

Very good - if you use ES Explorer - ever heard of it? - at least Android has a file explorer unlike the pointless crap that is iphone.

Like what? I keep asking and you arent providing
I have answered all of your 'missing' features so far?
So we can agree not all Android handsets are equal
So given you have one current Iphone(well 2 given its the half money milking model)
we can compare it straight with the HTC One if you like
    Not your budget phone

Exactly; Android relies on out of date concepts such as file managers and explorers. That's why I said you need to get the 'out of date' comparison the right way around before you make it!
