    My weekly plan is:
To write a meal plan using what we have in freezer (and sticking to it)
Drink more water than fizzy juice
To not spend more than £20 on food this week
    Clean bathroom
Tidy kitchen and living room before going to bed each night. (This one will be difficult as bf always in bed after me and when I get up there's a trail of destruction left behind!!)
Do Pilates video twice this week
Do two 15min cleaning challenges this week (got 4 night's this week so 2 should be enough to be getting on with)

So far this week, managed to do meal plan and although I changed some of around, stuck to the what's on the plan.
Definitely been drinking more water than fizzy juice, substituting plain fizzy water when the need for fizzy juice comes along.
Bathroom done. Will do again in morning cos I'm finished night's then and I do love waking up clean house once my shifts are done :j

Not done Pilates or cleaning challenges but still got plenty of time to achieve them I reckon :)

I have to say this reading other people's list is quite good. Has reminded me I need to clean the oven! Next week's list :rotfl:
  • ooooh can i join in please, i have did something similar before but fell by the wayside very quickly but i am determined this time to get organised, get debt free, get some sort of order and routine into my life. have been reading for the last couple of days and will get my a short list planned for the nnext couple of days then do a weekly one from monday.

    Hi,

3 of the 4 jobs are done; free hair cut, homemade "thankyou" card sent and the new compost bin is set up. The remaining, sorting through bulky items for disposal to make up cost is in progress as more difficult i.e. dismantling two bicycles for parts, that can be safely used, to save money in the future.
Am feeling optimistic about making more "get it done" plans.

  • Update from me:

I have been ill so I've got nothing done (even basic stuff I have struggled with). I'm still not feeling great so not sure when I'll feel inclined to do anything!
    Seriously money saving
  • Oh yea gawd. Im so demotivated to continue on with my list this week. Stupid working night shifts. Takes all the energy and get up n go out of me. Might need to tag it on to next weeks.

In saying that quite pleased stuck to meal plan for the week. Although him indoors is meant to be cooking tonight so im quite sure we will be going off plan completely cos it's meant to be turkey burgers made from scratch and I struggle to get him to eat turkey outside of thanksgiving :rotfl:

Having a roast chicken for sunday dinner so off to work out a meal plan using up left overs. And to work out a to do list for this week :)

    1. Ebay - posting first items (hopefully sold on Sunday), getting 4 items re-listed
    2. BnB - update listing (photographer coming Thursday, so major de-cluttering and deep cleaning all around, but also wording needs to be updated)
    3. With the help of a friend, lay the new lino in the kitchen (ideally pre-Thursday) DONE now just need to blitz kitchen!
    4. Book someone to do guttering as agreed with neighbours
    5. House insurance - sort
    6. Declutter 3/16 boxes
    7. List books and DVDs on zippit or whatever - need to research this
    8. Prepare for Mondays big meetings - opportunities to impress agencies I might want to work for in future :) For once, need to plan outfit DONE and must sort out eyebrows DONE and nails!
    9. Book hairdresser for appt before big work opportunity at end of the month - good excuse, its been really ages. DONE
    10. Bank cheque DONE
    11. Write thank you / catch up letters to godparents etc
    12. Make lurking vegetables into something scrummy
    13. Tidy larder cupboard and take stock of its (now very random) contents to inform shopping (hopefully shopping can hold off until next week, post payday)
    14. Payday payments to CC's first
I didn't think there was much on my list but seeing it there has somewhat freaked me out! Best I get busy :)

    hi all

I would like to join to help me become more organised ( used to be the "Monica from Friends" until I met Husband)
We got married in June 2013 so been in '"honeymoon" phase for a while and routine has went from our lives.
    New year new start

My main goals for this year are:
    • lose 5 stone by end of 2014
    • exercise 2-3 times a week
    • save for Florida 2015
    • try for a baby

My tasks for this week are:
    • get rid of ironing pile and put clothes and underwear in drawers
    • clean out bedroom which will include changing bed sheets and curtains
    • keep living room tidy ( hoover, mop and dust)
    • meal plan for next week
    • lose 2 pounds at Slimming world (first weigh in Tuesday)
    • Back at Guides ( make a plan for what to do)
    • exercise twice (Tuesday and Thursday)

looking forward to seeing this thread progress and helping me :)
