  • I'd really like to join you here! I need to have sone short term weekly goals to try and get organised better - I'm in a monthly money challenge but doing the details on a weekly basis makes a lot of sense to me!
I guess the week runs Sunday to Sunday?

    My list would be:
    1. Write up paperwork for voluntary work.
    2. Tidy and declutter office
    3. Meal plan and buy (incorporate healthier choices after the gluttony of christmas!)
    4. Catalogue seeds for veg plot and plan planting times
    5. Change and wash all bed linen.
    6. Prepare some reading and writing practice for DD.

Seems enough for now - looking forward to getting cracking.

  • So, starting my 'get it done' week as I mean to go on with a bit of washing in and a meal plan done - just have to buy in the food tomorrow.
I also sat last night and sorted out my seeds so now I know what I can plant and when, and also a list of seeds I still need.

    1. Write up paperwork for voluntary work.
    2. Tidy and declutter office
3.[STRIKE] Meal plan[/STRIKE] and buy (incorporate healthier choices after the gluttony of christmas!)
4.[STRIKE] Catalogue seeds for veg plot and plan planting times[/STRIKE]
    5. Change and wash all bed linen.
    6. Prepare some reading and writing practice for DD.

    Better get on!

Hello, do you think I can join in?

I normally only really read the os board but I've found that I needed a new approach.

Had a pretty complex 2013. Have my own flat which needs a lot of work, and then bf moved in. Then had some health issues which have taken a lot out of me and have resulted in me having to start long term daily injections. (Woe is me). And essentially most of 2013 was a bit of a washout...:(

But! Decided that 2014 is time to stop letting it get to me and start learning to live with it.

Upshot is I'm needing a kick up the ar#e, I've been letting the washing slide, bathroom and general cleaning slide as well. Bf has been in a mancave for years b4 I came along. So even though he can clean he doesn't realise it needs to be done regularly :rotfl::rotfl:

It's complicated by my shiftwork days/night's gah! :o

    Sooooooo after story
    My weekly plan is:
To write a meal plan using what we have in freezer (and sticking to it)
Drink more water than fizzy juice
To not spend more than £20 on food this week
    Clean bathroom
Tidy kitchen and living room before going to bed each night. (This one will be difficult as bf always in bed after me and when I get up there's a trail of destruction left behind!!)
Do Pilates video twice this week
Do two 15min cleaning challenges this week (got 4 night's this week so 2 should be enough to be getting on with)

I just have the ironing left to do off of this weeks to do list and I am about to start that now. So next weeks plan:

    1) Meal plan for the next 7 days using food I already have.
    2) Hoover and mop all the floors
    3) Clean the bathroom
    4) Change and wash the bed linen
    5) Go to the gym twice
    6) Complete portfolio/paperwork that I need to do ASAP
    7) Sort paperwork and details for my new job

Good luck to everyone with their goals this week!
