Hi list makers. Thanks for your updates mavvymoo and mothernerd.

My list starting from today until the end of Saturday :-

    1) Check outdoor cycling mileometer for end of month figures i.e. how many miles in February?
    2) Health food store BOGOF so will make purchase(s) before the offer runs out. Also, need another health supplement elsewhere.
    3) What to do about the losing weight challenge on these forums? Continually not getting anywhere (i.e. weight increase) since the start of last year.
    4) Reduce calories and meal plan.
    5) Decluttering. Keep tidying the garden when possible.
    6) Sort out some root cuttings from a plant.
    7) Clean out the inside and outside of the toilet.

    1) About 25 miles cycled in February for exercise purposes and acquiring groceries.
    2) The health food store was actually buy one get one half price
(H & B). Made the purchases plus purchased the other health supplement from ebay.
    3) The losing weight challenge is on the "I wanna buy-it-or-do it" forum mavvymoo. Decided not to do the (optional) monthly set challenges or weigh myself last Wednesday.
    4) Daily average calorie consumption since last Sunday is maybe still too high for weight loss although exercise may have helped. However, as the week went on, things generally improved. The meal planning worked to some extent. When it doesn't, it's when I "want a bit of this" and a "bit of that"; then it all adds up. I do sit down to eat but don't always feel relaxed and hurry sometimes. Thanks anyway mavvymoo for your thoughts on this.
    5) Decluttering - Unwanted grocery receipts shredded, shredded paper to compost bin, old food inventory in the form of a card system now transferred to a more condensed small notebook, old jeans too tight so turned into rags and using up existing "food stocks", especially bags of foraged blackberries from 2014. Gardening - weeding, clearing leaf litter and woody prunings to the council bin.
    6) The root cuttings were prepared to see if the plant could be saved as tried to unearth the root system and remove surrounding plantlets thinking they were unwanted weeds? 4 pots of the saved plantlets are doing well but nothing showing from the 2 root cuttings pots yet.
    7) Bathroom job done.

List from today until the end of Saturday -

    1) Tidy up as much as possible today (Sunday). Anything not done, continue with this week, or put away again!
    2) Living room needs a good polish and clean.
    3) Start to "spring clean" i.e. wash some curtains.
    4) Keep checking ebay for bid item(s).
    5) Try to visit the churchyard this week or the week after. Tidy up the graves if required. Check my gardening file to see if there any suitable wild flowers locally to take and/or purchase some. Call at a garage shop on the way as their shelves had a lot of reductions a few days ago (clearing out stock?).
    6) Gardening (flexible).

Well done dannie. I am struggling with weight loss atm. Had a check up with the practice nurse and have put on half a stone since December - not disastrous but needs to be tackled. Health trainer won't be pleased (that's this week). Thankfully all my blood test results were excellent and I am still getting into all my smallest size clothes. Just need to try harder this year so i finally get to a smaller size (have worked my way down through the three sizes that were in my wardrobe) so I finally get to have new clothes (and knickers - hate the ones I have). Bras are good because the last time I bought new ones was years ago and now they fit me again (had only a little wear before I put on weight - all the bigger ones have been thrown as they were worn when I was increasing and then again as I lost).

Most of last week's jobs done (quilt sewing and ivy cutting were expected to be whole of the month jobs) and done a couple of really nasty frogs including unblocking a drain. Decluttering is going well (total in signature), need to get onto the bigger items this week.

Will probably publish my list tomorrow. I am in the middle of some sewing and will have a better idea of how to sort the remainder (probably take all year to complete) when these two batches are out of the way.

Thanks for your message mothernerd. My weight gain was +8lbs (2014) and is still rising (2015). Yes, it's a problem what to do about clothing. Yesterday, decided to wear my biggest waist fitting pants so as not to remind myself of still gaining weight! Anyway, good news about your blood test results. (It seems to me that you have put in a lot of effort with your general health these last few months). Good luck with your appointment with the health trainer.

Hope everybody is doing okay with their weekly tasks.

Hi dannie. Just went to all subscribed threads to find this and then you had posted and it was top of the list. Bit of a long list this week and not sure how it will go as did too much yesterday and am now using my stick to get to the bathroom and back - well I have to keep pushing the limits of what I can do or I would just stay as I was when I came out of hospital.

List for Week Commencing Sunday 8th March 2015

    1) Mend drawer

    2) Sort embroidery threads
Time consuming but very soothing and have had success de-cluttering stationery items and have whittled down the patterns etc. Hoping what's left can now fit compactly and conveniently.

    3) Mother's Day card and present Should be nearly done but as I used one thing to sub as a card for my cousin last month, I need to check where I am up to -hopefully can progress if bed-bound for a day or two.

    4) Selling Just need to sort something and get advert(s) posted - don't care what it is, want it gone (and a few pennies back).

    5) Black bin to be collected this week. Want to fill the remaining space with a litter pick in the backs or get rid of more rubbish from the house and yard. Use spare brown bin.

    6) Put credit on the phone and add contacts

    7) Sort clothes
Put back in normal drawers (can bend enough now, don't need everything at waist height).

    8) Contact solicitors Need to sign a new contract as am getting rid of the useless estate agent on the 23rd.

    9) Council bulky refuse collection and charity shop furniture collection.

    10) Kitchen sort out.
Clear table, review de-clutter, try to put up rail for utensils, make 'use-up' meals.

    Have a good week everyone.

    6) Gardening (flexible).

    1) Tidied up fairly well. Paperwork jobs seem to be the ones that are intermittently worked upon and sometimes just put away again. Collecting sweet pepper seeds also continued throughout the week. These are now in a home made brown envelope.
    2) The living room cleaning really seemed to brighten up the room.
    3) Spring cleaning (i.e. curtains) were done.
    4) Nothing obtained via ebay. No point paying more when buying new is cheaper which would have happened.
    5) Managed the churchyard visit! Had not been able to go for quite awhile for various reasons. All the graves were tidied up (removed old flowers, cleared leaf litter, removed light soil from stonework, pruned a small bush and fresh flowers put on each which were found for free on the way). Whilst out, it reminded me how rural settings provide things for free e.g. free manure advertised. Decided not to obtain any but did forage 180gr approx. fresh chives which to buy may cost £4 approx. The garage shop was also visited. It had not further reduced anything so just got another bleach (cheaper than superstore prices). Also, visited a charity shop en route for the first time to see what was stocked and to get an idea of prices.
    6) Small gardening tasks were done such as woody prunings to council bin, cleared leaf litter, weeding and composting. These tasks revealed the edible plants that have survived winter and so will be used in the oncoming months.

(Back soon as possible with next weeks list).

Hi mothernerd and anybody tackling weekly lists of jobs. Thanks last week went okay regarding the weekly list.

Yesterday tidied up miscellaneous things and made a weekly list from what was observed mainly. So from Sunday (tidy up day done) until Saturday:-

    1) Polish bedroom surfaces.
    2) More spring cleaning which will be curtains if a full machine load can be done.
    3) Shopping list as somebody as offered to get anything for me whilst out of town. Will check online for any necessities and relevant offers. Also, will assess how much money is feasible to spend. More spending and reduced price items obtained so far this month hence plenty to use up.
    4) Send a homemade "thank you" card for received Easter money.
    5) Large pieces of cardboard to sort through for recycling.
    6) Relocate some garden plants. Read about purchased garden seeds if time. Maybe check the price of small bags of compost at a nearby shop? Grow anything indoors or not? Compost area floor needs sorting out.
    7) Keep on track with menu plan especially using up perishables.
    8) Update and continue with list of anything online to listen too, or watch.

Thanks dannie. Most of my list got done and have just tackled an almighty frog by filling in a form to the ombudsman (spent most of yesterday re-calculating how much the evil energy company has stolen from me and sending them another -the final- e-mail).

Would love to have a quiet domesticated week trying to put the house in order and getting rid of some of the larger items. Think the Council have phoned twice to arrange for payment for the collection of some junk (left by DS2) but not managed to get to the phone on time. Couldn't move at all first time and was yelling at DS3 to run down and answer it but he had earphones in.

Have a good week (my embroidery threads are tidy - another job I dreaded, so easy to get part way through and start wondering how it's all going to go back).

Sorry folks, as a bit behind schedule with things at the moment. Nevertheless, a belated update regarding last week. The indoor cleaning, recycling and leisure tasks went to plan. Similarly, the saving money type aims went okay. Only one required grocery item was purchased plus one "yellow-stickered", a ready made homemade card was posted by someone for me so no shopping/money spent and constantly used up existing food stock. Lastly, the gardening jobs were done but did not pass the shop selling compost. I feel more inclined to use some garden soil or await my homemade compost. I am undecided whether to grow anything indoors due to the disadvantages of more clutter and cleaning.

From last Sunday until the end of Saturday,

    1) Collect some garden soil to re-pot some indoor plants and maybe sow a few seeds for indoor plants. Rose plant care.
    2) Refreshing and decluttering themes* -
    a) spring clean more curtains.
    b) using up food ingredients/estimating how long the UHT milk supply will last.
    c) file away/shred old paperwork.
    d) any other tasks connected with the above stated themes*.

Pleased to say that I have already made a start with these jobs.

P.S. Thanks for your message and post mothernerd.
