    Morning,

Very tired here, I'm not sleeping well at the moment so the little sleep I'm getting on work nights is even less. I'm going back to the dr on Monday because I am so up and down emotionally, it's hour to hour that my moods and feelings are changing now and although I am classed as a "high functioning depressive" I am struggling to keep up appearances. I'm hoping to get a sleep while DS naps later and am looking forward to a quiet day as this week has been so busy being the first week back at school!

Today will be another NSD, once back from the school run I'm getting in my onesie for the rest of the day!

I hope you're feeling better soon MrsGSR - both my DH & I suffer with anxiety & he is an insomniac and takes medication to help.

I can totally understand how you feel as a "highly functioning depressive" - no-one at work knows my struggles! Do you have someone to confide in & get things off your chest? It really does make such a difference & it's definitely it, even if you have to let down your guard a little

    xx

    hello all :)

not a sfd today as went food shopping and got petrol. spent about £11 i think, havent got receipts to hand. done my 3 mystery shops as well as the gym :)

really annoyed with aldi :mad::mad: as per last few weeks lots of stuff i wanted was sold out. tonight, they didnt have at least 75% of the fruit and veg- no exageration! or no yoghurts :( so had to go to mr t's. will give it one last try next week then im giving up :(

have any of you put foil behind the radiators? does it make a difference? did you use normal foil or buy the panels?

also thinking of switching energy again  the cheap energy club reckons i could save £136py and £30 cb with ovo. need to check whether i can switch though as i only signed up in aug and got £150 cashback. finally got my issue sorted with last supplier and final bill was £35 in credit and getting £30 comp :)

  • Thanks for the advice...

I had a message on e-bay today - they begrudgingly refunded the £5.00 they had deducted - although claim they are also out of pocket... I'm leaving it there as we both made a loss... I'll be more careful next time...

Good news I'm now nearly £40 in pocket which I'll put towards making an extra debt repayment at some point...

Today was a good day: SFD = 6

I was sooooo tempted to get a take away but used up left overs in the fridge instead! Now sat here happy to have resisted... Hoorah for the weekend too!!!

I was made redundant today so had a spend day, 45p on a bag of crisps at work and £21 in m & s on £39 worth of food and booze.

I might just have scuppered my food budget but 60 GF sausages for a fiver was a good buy.

I am planning to exercise tomorrow and Sunday and am arranging to go swimming with a friend next week.

  • Hello lovelies and a Happy Friday to you all!! :j

I managed to get out for my run yesterday :T But have irritated my knee (patello femoral). :( I've always had issues with my knees (bit arthritic in the damp), and some issues when descending uneven surfaces- like mountains! (Good job I don't come across them too often in my day-to-day life), so I have had to order a knee support for next week so I can continue my running. Got it in a sale, very cheaply and with good reviews. I've probably always needed the support, but having not run for several years (where I did the majority of my running on a running machine) and now moving on to road running, I really need to start looking after my feet and especially my naughty knees!

    So exercise t.d= 1.45 hrs/ 4.5

So, today was a predicted spend day. I've put £20 (exactly- this is rare for me) of fuel in my car! Have also ordered my ma's present after an age of trawling the 'net for best prices, so pleased that is all done!

I have got an overnight stay in a hotel (ooo la la) with the OH tomorrow, and will be making use of their fitness centre- swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room! (avoiding their gym, I think my knee would go galloping off if I took it there!)

Annnnyway, I want to send a MASSIVE *SQUISH* to Mrs GSR, hope you did catch some zzzz's!

Clippy- Nice to see how busy you are with your MS-ing! I have been avidly reading the thread you pointed me to, and the linked threads from that, just psyching myself up to register with HMRC and also sort out my NIC. Thank you for your help with it all!!

All of this talk about food on the thread today has made me hungry...*Disappears to go foraging*

Need to find out where the local food bank is. I gave to it at christmas when they were collecting in tesco but not sure where they are based, will go and google now and see. Hope everyone has a nice weekend xx

I'm going to say I had a SFD today even though I bought some things - BUT I used a giftcard I got for Christmas and most of it was educational stuff for DS - 2 workbooks and some printer paper, only actually treated myself to a magazine and that was Home Farmer, hoping to get some inspiration for my allotment! So please let me off:o

I had HM soup for lunch and leftovers for tea, still not gone 'proper' grocery shopping since before Christmas. I'm probably going to go next week but I'm looking out for an Aldi voucher before I go...

No work today but have taken in lunch every day that I was in.

Walked dog and did some yoga.

Hi all. Another NSD today and an exercise day too :T

I was slightly upset today as my 5 year old has had his heart broken :( He was really upset, bless him. He said he was dumped by the lovely shannon, who has left him for someone else. Apparently this other boy has better hair and better trousers! He then said to me he just worries he won't be good enough for anyone else :(. I told him he was miles too good for her ;) and he will find a lovely girl with lovely manners before he knows it ;) I just cannot believe the world of 5 year olds has heart break in it!

    Glad it's Friday :T

Well done everyone and keep going :T
