evening all
Will write now and catch up after.....
Had a few fiddly spendy days just lately, nothing major tho. Yesterday went into M S and got all shopping with YS so freezer compartment of fridge is squished tightly with chix drumsticks and bread. Also got some very yummy choc brownies. So chuffed with my bargains.
Also got some Lynx sets half price free with Boots points which will do for some pressies and lots of cards, wrap and tags very cheaply too. So much for me trying to declutter.....
Im on AL from work but Im booked to do 3 shifts in the next few days on the bank = extra debt money!!!

This time of the month I sometimes feel like all I'm doing is 'pottering on' with the challenge. Most dds have gone out, pay not due till the end of the month, so a gap in between. The NSDs are creeping up; sugar free and grain free record is 100% so far, which I'm rather pleased about, having never done more than 3 in a row before!
I'm well impressed with people getting so many NSD in a row - well done to one and all! Milk is our main downfall - I do buy 8 pints but that doesn't last a week. And I can't put it in the freezer at the mo, as it's filled with bread for dd. Maybe I need to create a space and prioritise it for milk. Hmmm. Also, it's hard enough to carry 8 pints in a rucksack along with the week's shopping, even getting the bus, let alone 12 pints! I'm such a wimpy weakling!:rotfl:
Extra money is coming in - or will be when we get paid. Doing the extra days is tiring! No surprise there. Getting dd up early is hard for her, but we'll get in a routine soon enough.
talking of getting up, we're awake and breakfasted so it's time to get dressed, brushed, coated and out in 30 mins!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Morning,
Very tired here, I'm not sleeping well at the moment so the little sleep I'm getting on work nights is even less. I'm going back to the dr on Monday because I am so up and down emotionally, it's hour to hour that my moods and feelings are changing now and although I am classed as a "high functioning depressive" I am struggling to keep up appearances. I'm hoping to get a sleep while DS naps later and am looking forward to a quiet day as this week has been so busy being the first week back at school!
Today will be another NSD, once back from the school run I'm getting in my onesie for the rest of the day!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -
Good morning campers!
How are we all getting on? I have been missing for a few days so lots of posts to catch up on today which I will do in my coffee breaks. I am off today with errands to run and tidying/cleaning to be done.
I need to go to the library, post office, collect avon books and do a food shop. I have a friend popping for coffee around lunchtime.
I need to get dressed, 15 min bedroom tidying, finish meal plan and check shopping list. Also pack ebay parcels and find library books, clean downstairs loo and if time, empty dishwasher. Hope to be out by 10.30 at the latest and back by 12.00 at the latest.
This afternoon I will tidy lounge and sweep floors downstairs. If time will clean rats and make cake! Phew! M has a friend round later so might make cake while they are here (playing skylanders no doubt). Hmm maybe will do a jelly for them to have with ice cream
Right best get a wriggle on. Will be back later to update on spends/SFDs etc.
Happy Friday people!

so i have today off work as had quite a few mystery shops to do and didnt think could fit them all in tomorrow as going out earlier than i thought. however realised one is for next week and two are for different companies but the same shop and same sceanario so get paid twice for same job  need to do two reports though. going to do three today and two tomorrow.
so have time spare now so going to do a spin class this morning then head home for lunch then into city to do jobs. wasting sfd by going to aldi later to do my shop. tomorrow is spend day but i want to go today to get homous as its my evening treat at the weekend as im off sugar! may drive down to rspca as well to drop off food my cat has gone off and a bag of litter as i have loads and he has only used his tray twice in 7 weeks now as he crosses his legs all night when locked in :rotfl: good boy :A:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Morning lovely folks
Just popping in with my updates! Had quite a good week - managed to resist the coffee machine temptation and had no alcohol either - quite proud as I like the occasional glass of wine on a night but now I would rather save those pennies up and not ruins my SFD's by buying a bottle that I really don't need - I am even abstaining tonight which will be nothing short of a miracle!
Stewby - I love my slow cooker and it cooks beef perfectly (and ham joints). I you dice beef and put it in with a beef stockpot and water and leave overnight on a low setting it will be so tender - throw a few veggies in as well and make a nice stew - yum
Now on 6 SFD's , taken my lunch to work all this week and downshifted 2/5 so ticking along nicely!
Enjoy your day everyone xxx0 -
Just reporting in another SFD bit late oops 6/20
Today won't be off out for a meal tonight, budgeted for and even found a nice restaurant 3 courses and glass of wine for 17 pounds.
Sandycheeks I fancy a slowcooker, are they expensive to run I wonder. Seen one in morrisons for 15 pounds. Need to buy some food first this weekend unless I can last till Monday - Kat and her challenges if I get snowed in with no food in, all her fault trying to earn another SFD lol

Hi Calling14 - no my slow cooker is really inexpensive to run and £15 is an absolute bargain for one and would be a great investment in the long run (especially if the snow comes and you need something warm and filling)!0

Good morning all, I wish you a fruitful day!!
This afternoon I am living for a long weekend of seminars and training to London! I have tomorrow afternoon some free time between 1-3pm so I thought about inviting NINJAKAT to meeting me! :-) but she might politely decline it ha ha ha
I am back to London on the 8/2/14 again, so perhaps NSK we can meet if you would like to? I will take a flask of coffee for us to share in the middle of Leicester square?
Now, I am so determined to keep away from shops in London and I am hoping that I will stick to my budget whilst away!
Sending you all positive vibes ,
XxNo debts 🙌0
